His backers jittery, Obama steps up attacks on McCain, belittling him as a disco age relic

Belittling John McCain as a relic of the disco age, Democrat Barack Obama pushed his campaign Friday to a new level of counter-punching "on the issues that matter" and directed his running mate to be tougher on their Republican opponents.
The changes come as national polls find McCain and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, pulling ahead of Obama and Joe Biden, prompting some jittery Democrats to implore them to fight back harder, and Obama's camp to pledge "speed and ferocity" in that effort.

"Today is the first day of the rest of the campaign," Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said in a statement Friday. "We will respond with speed and ferocity to John McCain's attacks and we will take the fight to him, ...I see Bagdad Bob has a new job.

I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Barack Obama has the mannerisms of Yasser Arafat, the attitude of Malcolm X and the policies of Josef Stalin.
I am hopeful that we can continue to keep Americans aware of how terrible Obama is.

So McCain is too old to be an agent for change. "What do geezers know about change? Ha. Ha. Hell, McCain is so old he can't can't even tie his own shoes! Ha, ha. ha. ha....."
With or without fully functioning limbs we old geezers can tell you about change in America.
I remember Henry "Scoop" Jackson, Hubert Humphrey, Harry Truman -- I knew the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party was a friend of America. The Rat Party is no Democratic Party.
Rat Party stalwarts and leaders choose to move beyond being Americans.
Well here's a change request -- let's change back to when the deafening chorus would be, "Rats, get the hell out of our Country!"

What’s wrong with being from the disco age? I like disco. You can really dance to it.
To: ButThreeLeftsDo
disco age relicThis is anachronistic in the first place, since disco came along a bit later. Second, he just threw two more decades of voters under the bus as well. Keep going 0meister. Pretty soon his only voters will be the unborn about to be aborted in Chicago and I am sure he can figure out how to offend them as well.

To barry and his backers:
Burn Baby Burn because McCain is going to Turn the Beat Around and Rock The Boat with his new Disco Lady Sarah and That's The Way I Like It, Uh-huh, Uh-huh.
The McCain/Palin ticket is Stayin' Alive and is going to Rock It To The Top.
Obama, you'd better Knock On Wood cause this could be your Last Dance

I just came back from a stint at the Hollywood Florida Victory office. Every single older person I spoke to supports McCain. They kept me on the phone for quite awhile, but I don’t mind at all.
Please go volunteer and make those calls. It is so rewarding. Two of the older ladies I spoke with were home bound and wanted so much to vote for McCain but were unsure if they would be able to arrange transportation on election day.
As a volunteer you are able to order absentee ballots and educate those “non-internet” savvy folks about early voting and get them lots of phone numbers to ask for help in getting to the polls.

Huh?
What is Obama thinking?
When disco was the rage, McCain was either recovering and getting
back to flight status (in less than two years after checking
out of the Hanoi Hilton).
Or busy running and bringing up a large aviation wing to their
best service ratings ever.
Well, at least that's what Wikipedia sez.
Some Disco-era Democrat that still has a bad cocaine habit must
have had Obama's ear when this advert theme was green-lighted!!!
McCain should issue an advert with his quip about not being able
to attend Woodstock because he was "tied up at the time"
(in the Hanoi Hilton, of course).
And say that he couldn't "get down with Disco"...because he was busy
just learning to walk like an average person again. And get into
shape to fly Navy jets once again.
McCain should also tack on that sound-bite from Clinton about
America needing to apologize (IIRC) for Disco and shag carpet.

Okay, I have this mental image of the main title sequence from “Saturday Night Fever”, except that instead of Travolta, it’s a young McCain strutting down the streets of New York in his dress whites. Probably not the unflattering effect they intended.

So I guess Carter didn't make that list with McCain.
Because even Obama realizes that Jimmy Carter was a high
quantum-yield nuclear trainwreck of a disaster for The Disco Age!!!
Even before you start talking about high interest rates or handing
Iran over to an EVIL Ayatollah and his groupies.

McCain/Palin needs to use the BeeGee’s “Stayin Alive” as their opening for campaign events. That would be a hoot!
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,

Well, my son said it best about John McCain’s inability to use a keyboard without it being cumbersome, and McCain’s inability to comb his hair, etc.,
Even with that disability, McCain “CAN STILL PUT HIS HAND OVER HIS HEART.”
Apparently Senator Obama has a problem with that one.
