The bias shown by photographer Jill Greenberg is absolutely unprofessional... and the crass manipulation of her images of John McCain... despicable!
There's another article commenting on the first with even more info.. http://photobusinessforum.blogspot.com/2008/09/jill-greenberg-open-mouth-insert-foot.html
Note the comments below links to images that are currently on the front page of her web site..

Here's her site: http://www.manipulator.com/ ... reload it a few times to see the image of a monkey doing unspeakable things on McCain's head.
This is absolutely shameful behavior by a supposed professional.

should give photographers forced by “public accommodations” laws to photograph gay weddings some valuable techniques

She did a great job on Barry's portrait.

This bitch is featuring the horrible photo as the centerpiece of her website “Manipulator” right now. I surely hope this woman does not bring any children into this world. Her soul is black and barren.

The title of the issue is "Why War Is His [John McCain's] Answer."
This, plus Andrew Sullivan's declaration that Trig Palin is Bristol Palin's child, demonstrate that The Atlantic - which used to be a respected publication - is now fully in the tank for Obama.

Here are the images... first The Atlantic cover:
Next the "monster lighting" shot:
Finally images she has placed on her web site:
There was another one that I missed grabbing showing a monkey urinating and defecating on McCain's head. Maybe someone else out there got it before she took it down.

I didnt, she says. Its definitely exciting to shoot someone who is in the limelight like that. I am a pretty hard core Democrat. Some of my artwork has been pretty anti-Bush, so maybe it was somewhat irresponsible for them [The Atlantic] to hire me.

I can’t believe such juvenile behavior in a supposed “professional.”
This just might cost her work. You can only go so far with that kind of behavior before it comes back to haunt you.

I am somewhat encouraged by the comments made by Dems and journalists calling this way over the top.

Well, it's despicable, becsuse she acts like a junior high student set loose with a camera. But as a deal, I don't see it as big. It's not used on the cover. At the worst, she sells the pic and it shows up on some left-wing blog. Unflattering images of Michelle also abound.
The interview with Sarah was the shark that was jumped by the media. Now it's time to close the deal on the basis of substance, while spurning the media's efforts. IMO.

As a working photographer I think Ms. Greenberg’s work with Sen. McCain is in poor taste. This is just adding fuel to the fire that the media is so left wing it can’t do anything without showing it’s bias.
In 2004, right after spending the day photographing Pres. Bush for his four hours here in Vegas, I was contacted by a former client, daughter of Nevada Politicain, and asked to photograph Sen Kerry when he arrived in Vegas in a few days.
I explained I would love to, but I was a registered Republican who was a State Senate District Leader, and had worked for the RNC recently.
I would be glad to do the work, I just wanted her to know who she was hiring.
She cursed me out and hung up.
Libtards are unstable.

How Jill Greenberg Really Feels About John McCain When The Atlantic called Jill Greenberg, a committed Democrat, to shoot a portrait of John McCain for its October cover, she rubbed her hands with glee. She delivered the image the magazine asked fora shot that makes the Republican presidential nominee look heroic. Greenberg is well known for her highly retouched images of bears and crying babies. But she didnt bother to do much retouching on her McCain images. I left his eyes red and his skin looking bad, she says. Atlantic_mccain After getting that shot, Greenberg asked McCain to please come over here for one more set-up before the 15-minute shoot was over. There, she had a beauty dish with a modeling light set up. Thats what he thought he was being lit by, Greenberg says. But that wasnt firing. What was firing was a strobe positioned below him, which cast the horror movie shadows across his face and on the wall right behind him. He had no idea he was being lit from below, Greenberg says. And his handlers didnt seem to notice it either. I guess theyre not very sophisticated, she adds. Mccain1 The Atlantic didnt select the diabolical looking McCain for its cover. Greenberg is hoping to license that image to some other magazine (she negotiated a two-week embargo with The Atlantic so she could re-license images from the shoot before the election). Warned that the image is just the kind of thing that will stir up the anti-media vitriol in the conservative blogosphere, Greenberg said, Good. I want to stir stuff up, but not to the point where I get audited if he becomes president. That said, she goes on to explain that shes thought about replacing McCains mouth with bloody shark teeth and displaying the image on a billboard with the message that the candidate is a bloodthirsty war monger. Given her strong feelings about John McCain, we asked whether she had any reservations about taking the assignment in the first place. I didnt, she says. Its definitely exciting to shoot someone who is in the limelight like that. I am a pretty hard core Democrat. Some of my artwork has been pretty anti-Bush, so maybe it was somewhat irresponsible for them [The Atlantic] to hire me.

If you look at her portfolio, this won’t cost her work. It will only make people like Matt Damon even more excited to hire her. Her creds in Hollywood and among the wacko left will only be heightened.
However I’d bet somewhere someone will refuse to let her shoot them. The Atlantic hired her for this one, not McCain’s team.

She's 'projecting' again ... it isn't Republican presidents who order audits on dissenters, its Dem presidents who do.

I may be off-base here, but SHAME on McCain for allowing himself to be photographed by such an angry, vile, leftist American hater!
