My big concern was not getting the grandkids to scared about the weather. The grandson is 9, he is to the point where it would be cool to see a tornado. It was the 3 year old grand daughter who I was most worried about, the other grand daughter is 7 and she would probably have been okay.

I started getting some things organized real low key, but when I made them get their shoes on they new something was up. Walking around with my scanner to my ear was another big tip off:-)

I will try to see the weather a 10pm tonight and post an update on any major damage. I know a few sheds and such were torn up. Most of the tornadoes were brief touch downs so I am hoping damage and injuries were minimal.

We had a big discussion at work a few years back and decided we would take tornados over huricanes any day.

I hope both of y'all are out of ike's way?

Regards

I am 500 miles northwest of the storms. I think I am relatively safe! :D
