Hollywood, CA (LifeNews.com) -- John and Cindy McCain appeared on the women's television show, "The View" on Friday morning and the hosts asked the pair questions about abortion. The show is known for its pro-abortion activism, with co-host Whoopi Goldberg a longtime member of the Planned Parenthood board of advisors.

During the program, Goldberg attacked McCain on his saying he would appoint judges who wouldn't make up the law from the bench.

"Should I be worried about being a slave or a return to slavery," Goldberg asked incredulously.

Be glad she made that comment. McCain handled it very well, and Whoopi looked like an idiot to all but the most insane libtards.

If it were my in McCain's shoes, I wouldn't be able to resist going this smartassed route...

"Should I be worried about being a slave or a return to slavery," Goldberg asked incredulously.

Me: *thoughtful pause, brow furrowed, weighing the options in my head, finally arriving at a firm, principled position*

"Yes.. yes you should."

The founders of this country believed whole heartedly in state’s rights. The Civil War was more of a battle of state’s rights than it was a battle to end slavery.

The powers of the federal governement are specifically enumerated and the rest of the power is in the state’s hands.

That is purely constitutional.

a judge that will actually follow and apply the law AS IT IS and not legislate from the bench is a concept these marxists like whoopee can’t wrap their feeble minds around.

Why would anyone try to turn a perfectly good braying ass into a second rate slave?

A columnist once remarked that Whoopie’s bio claims she had some 5 or 6 abortions (it was hard to make an accurate count). But - she is just SO hip n lovable...

She is already a slave to socialist ideals and is to stupid to know it............she profits personally from her ancestors pain and suffering as slaves . The real slaves, the ones that Kenya’s ancient kings sold to arab slave traders.......the ones with arab names......like the POS she supports.....she’s a piss poor actress, a lousy comedian and only parrots what she hears. As she was never a slave yet pretends to be in her multi-million dollar environment. How sad that ABC and it’s viewers support keeps such seditious trash employed.

IMHO she is just a silly twit that’s full of sh*t ~!

And I agree. But I also think that a lot of problems would be solved in this country if the Federal Government would limit what it does to those powers specifically given them by the Consitution.

Let me be a little politically incorrect here Whoopi - if we’re going to re-institute servitude, this time we’ll stick to Scots-Irish indentured servants. You guys weren’t worth all the trouble and expense you’ve turned out to be.

The thirteenth amendment prohibits slavery. Whoopie is too stupid to understand that SCOTUS can’t rule against an amendment. Not only is she an idiot, but anyone in the audience who applauded her question is just as dumb.
