The trooper in question drank in his cruiser and tasered a 13 year old boy. And he’s going for wrongful dismissal?

Hollis French hasn’t recused himself? How unethical is that? When will he be investigated.

The trooper never lost her job, this is about the troopers supervisor, who Palin claims was directed to make changes in how he was running things and refused so she fired him.

Not over the trooper but over him not following her directions to do things differently.

Ex commisioner Monegan was fired by Governor Palin and seeks to drag her name through the mud. Democrats believe him. Who would have imagined?

Out of curiosity, was it necessary to issue subpoenas? Were each of these people asked to appear before the committe? Or were they issued because they knew it would make national news and make it look like Palin was stonewalling?

Not good news. It doesn't matter the outcome. Just the word "Troopergate" will do the job the RATs need for the next two months.

Bogus "Troopergate": Meet the so-called Investigators:

The man overseeing the “investigation,” Sen. Hollis French, is the bald guy near the back (fifth from left, by the Obama ‘08 posters). Any doubts about this hack’s objectivity yet?

Well, it gets better. Last week, for obvious reasons, Rep. John Coghill asked the Alaska Legislative Council to remove French from the probe. Coghill’s request was rejected:

On Monday, the head of the Legislative Council turned down his request. Democratic Sen. Kim Elton responded that he is sure that partisan politics can be kept out of the probe.

You know what’s coming, right? Senator Elton is also in the picture. He’s the tall bearded guy on the far left (ahem) of the photo. His Alaska State Legislature web page can be found here.

So, there it is. The guy overseeing the troopergate ”investigation” and the man charged with keeping him honest are both proud Obama partisans. If ever there was a put up job, folks, this is it.

(hat tip to Catron)

I am coming to the conclusion that the leftist propaganda media have gone so far over the top in their attacks on Governor Palin that outside the fever swamps of the left no one is giving any credence to their tripe. It is rapidly coming to the point where the lefist media could run a story about the Governor participating in human sacrifice complete with pictures and the testimony of half the state of Alaska and no one would believe them.

The “boy who cried wolf” effect is developing very rapidly.

The MSM media going after this looks more and more like the socialist, leftist, democrat hacks that they are. I predict more and more people will tune them out, and tune into FoxNews, talk radio, and the internet for their news.

GO SARAH!!!

From the AP (exerpted):

In two letters released Wednesday, Thomas Van Flein called the investigation “unlawful and unconstitutional” and said the man hired to run it, former prosecutor Stephen Branchflower, has a conflict of interest because he’s a friend of the fired commissioner. Citing “your seemingly biased conduct of the investigation in recent weeks,” he urged Branchflower to stop interviewing witnesses — the second time this month that he’s asked Branchflower to stand down.

The investigation has included setting up a secret tip line to “accept and investigate anonymous rumors and complaints outside the scope” of the inquiry, Van Flein alleged. He also said Branchflower has deposed witnesses without proper notice other attorneys.
