McCain Gets Grilled on ‘The View’ Over Palin

If John McCain was hoping to cruise through his fifth appearance on “The View,” he was in for a surprise Friday.

Within seconds of walking on the set, the Republican presidential nominee was grilled by the co-hosts of the ABC morning show over his choice of Sarah Palin as running mate and his claims that together they will reform Washington.

“I don’t see the old John McCain who used to buck the system as much, I understand why. You want to get elected,” said co-host Joy Behar.

I just went and read the whole article at FOX News. They sure didn’t give much column space to ANY of McCain’s answers! All I read were the questions posed to him, and not how he handled it.

Stupid move catering to the moonbats on that show. Why give them ANY credibility?

I think appearing on that crazy show does the exact opposite of giving them credibility. It shines the light on their insane NON objective viewpoints. I think more than just moonbats watch that show, and the more people who are exposed to their downright unfairness and meanness will be more willing to come over to our side. Above all, the American people value fair play. They see none of that on that show, and will be repelled by it, hopefully.

I reckon that was certainly on his mind when he made the Palin pick. Governor Palin cements the base and McCain is free to court everybody else. This strikes me as smart politics.

I heard an excerpt where he challenged Obamessiah to town meetings and pointed out that Barry has refused 10 so far. There was no partisan applause after those comments.

He’s pointed out, effectively I think, to independent women that Barry is gutless.
