It's not too late for "W" to round those pukes up. They sit in an office building not too far from downtown ~ could be done in 15 minutes.
Hey Anne, kiss my a....
The WaPo is obviously hoping Americans are too stupid to realize this and will instead by the spin from their hit piece.
Lying Scum pretend that al Queda never declared that its main fight was in Iraq. The Treason media is lower than whale poop.
More than 1000 is thousands and we have lost soldiers in Iraq who were trying to protect innocents there and the terrorists obviously plan, execute and rejoice at killing our soldiers.
they have all gone freaking nuts.
Your point is well taken, but I believe that the WAPO also knows this well, and chose to obfuscate intentionally for its own purpose.
And, that purpose is one that is inappropriate outside the opinion pages. News is news, and ought to be truthful reporting. Keep the lies and distortions on the opinion pages.
Kornblut’s been in Alaska for over a week now, checking per diem reciepts and Wasilla City Council minutes.
The strain is showing.
I remember awhile back someone posted numerous media links many before 9-11 occurred. articles about Saddam and osama meeting and communicating with each other. any posters know of this
Wapo isn’t fit to wipe the floor with at times. Ignore the small minded individuals.
The author and all liberal loons also never mention the fact that Musab al Zarqawi was in Iraq recruiting terrorists and setting up Al Queda training camps one year before the U.S. led invasion in 2003. Liberals also fail to mention that Abu Nidal was being given safe haven in Iraq for years after he led a terrorist group in the hijacking of the Achille Laural - where he murdered and threw overboard a wheel chair bound American Citizen. And little is every mentioned about all the money that Saddam paid to the families of Islamic terrorists who had committed homicide bombings against Israeli women, children, and the elderly. Iraq may not have had any direct connection with the planning of 9/11/01, but Saddam and Iraq was neck deep in supporting terrorists years before 9/11/01 happened.
Knock knock Anne...add your name to the ever growing list of pseudo-intellectuals who make stupid statements to try to show how much smarter than Sarah Palin they are but afterwards are shown to...as another poster put it...not smarter than a fifth grader.
Actually that would make another good long running post...
A list of names that Sarah has demoted to kindergarten.
Bush stayed off the Bully Pulpit and gave many supporters the Scooter Libby treatment, and now Sarah has to defend the truth alone.
Thanks Jorge.
"Under the Obama plan, a residual force will remain in Iraq and in the region to conduct targeted counter-terrorism missions against al Qaeda in Iraq"
I would love for someone to please show me where President Bush ever blamed Iraq for Sept 11th.
I have looked high and low and all I can ever find is the statement, similar to that of Gov Palin, that the LESSONS of 9-11 are that we can not afford to sit idly by as threats gather.
(Side note - amazing that in his diatribe against the President today Keith Olbermann made a highly compelling argument for the Bush doctrine. Quite telling that he assigns no blame to Clinton for his 8 years of ineptitude in foreign affairs and his systematic dismantling of our military.)
You have that right. My daughter did a research project on Abu Nidal and his ties to Sadaam. I will always believe that Sadaam and Bin Laden if not joined at the hip shared a similar agenda on terrorism and that Saddam may not have been in the planning for 9/11 but I would bet money he and his sons knew about what was going to happen. I wouldn't even bet money that his sons were not involved in some of the planning no matter what the Bush Administration says. Al Qaeda trained in the Iraqi desert and they would not have done that with Sadaam's approval. This Administration became too limp wristed in the last four years and didn't stand up enough. When I heard Pres Bush say he should not have said Axis of Evil, it pretty much did me in. I want a President with a spine that won't back down.
Exactly and why I have lost a lot of respect for this Administration. They had the proof Al Qaeda was training in the Iraqi desert but Pres Bush chose to not defend the evidence. Even when he held press conferences, he spent more time being sarcastic then standing up.
Does anyone remember Salam Pak (sp?)
