My God, this woman is Sharp.
Her answers are more thought out and intelligent than his questions, and she is shooting from the hip. Charlie has had time to think about what questions he wanted to ask, and she is proving to much of a challenge for him.

IMHO, if the MSM can successfully paint her as a “Jesus-freak” whose religion makes her more belicose.. And who by the way will take away the right to choose and has little experience... If they can manage that, we’re dead in the water

She's good. She gives great answers while bringing God's word to the table. Brilliant!

...if the MSM can successfully paint her as a Jesus-freak...They will guarantee a McCain victory and a huge media backlash! But do they really want to go to religion - Sarah knows she is a Christian, but Barry?

you are 100% correct. Hopefully, she is savvy enough to evade, like Romney in the sense that he said, “look, I’m running for President, not for the minister of my church.”
I think they will try very hard to distort her Christian views. she answered the question very well regarding Lincoln and being on God’s side as opposed to God being on our side.

Relatively smooth on national security. I would like to see Obama do a sitdown right now with the same questions fast and furious. Not to mention his constant changing of positions and Biden's consistently being on the wrong side of history for the last 35 years.
The last part where Gibson asks about her comments on God and the current war on terror she nails him with the fact that she was actually paraphrasing Lincoln. Her answer on the subject overall was killer and clearly she was well-armed.

Excellent job with the jackals at ABC Sarah!
Last time I looked, Gibson’s hard hitting questions of democrats was how their golf game was going!
GOOD JOB SARAH!
Next up, Joe Biden right charlie? bet you ask him how his golf game is too.

Their best chance to derail her is to paint her into being some religious kook, fanatic...
I liked her forthrightness. SHe looked him in the eye almost 95% of the time.

If she could do that well in her first interview, she's gonna be dynamite by the time she gets comfy with handling these idiot interrogators.

No problem. If she doesn’t think she’s ready she’s got no business on the ticket. She’s as ready as any other Governor who became President .

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.
I wish she’d been able to ask Gibson if he would get Obama in and ask him the exact same questions she’s being asked.

Notice how she uses the parental "broken record" technique on Charlie? GIBSON: What if Israel decided it felt threatened and needed to take out the Iranian nuclear facilities?
PALIN: Well, first, we are friends with Israel and I don't think that we should second guess the measures that Israel has to take to defend themselves and for their security.
GIBSON: So if we wouldn't second guess it and they decided they needed to do it because Iran was an existential threat, we would cooperative or agree with that.
PALIN: I don't think we can second guess what Israel has to do to secure its nation.
GIBSON: So if it felt necessary, if it felt the need to defend itself by taking out Iranian nuclear facilities, that would be all right.
PALIN: We cannot second guess the steps that Israel has to take to defend itself.
