...I didn’t want to give terrorists any ideas.

You're right.

This is MUCH better. McCain is putting me to sleep!

Then prepare to hibernate, my friend. This is a pleasant diversion.

Well allow me. Sarah Palin is great. Weiner called her white trash. He also trashed Ann Coulter. I like Rush. I like Hannity. I like Mark Levin-- the Great One. As for this guy:

2001... ...was it that long ago?

I remember it clearly, as if it were yesterday. Seven years sounds like a long time, doesn't it?

The Bushbots and bobblehead neocons are crediting the war in Iraq for the fact that we haven't had another 9/11 since the original. Go figure.

Politics is truly the oldest profession on earth; the prostitutes simply followed suit. ;)

You think you've got it bad?

My dish plan only has CNN and HNN. I don't get FOX NEWS, or even MSNBC.

All day long I've heard "It was eerie. People were unusually kind to each other. We all knew, 'Oh my god, we've been attacked.' We all became more aware of the ones we love."

Thinking of that kind of love? Oh, really? Citizens past thought of love of Country.

How do you say, "thank goodness it was the greatest generation in 1941, not this one" in German and Japanese? Never mind we are still America.

Shudder, how do you say it today and conform to the radical Islamists' interpretation of the Koran? We won't be America for long with all this PC crap.

The media folks tell of their professional doings.

The common folks remember where they were.

No one says, "Enough with the lollygagging! Let's wipe the bastards out now! We know where their key personnel are. We know who backs them. We know!"

Yeah, I was in a Cultural Geography class (7:55 to 9:00) in college when it happened. I sat in my car, smoking a cigarette as I listened to the horrible situation unfold.

Savage's wisdom and rage is what I remember from that day.

Pleasant isn’t exactly what I’d call it. Listening to Savage, I feel like I’m experiencing 9/11 all over again. Which isn’t a bad thing, of course. We need to be reminded of the evil our Islamic enemies unleash upon us and the rest of the world on a daily basis. IMO, Savage’s 9/11 “rant” needs to be heard more than once a year.

"Pleasant" was an improper choice, I'll admit. I think "refreshing" would have been better, in that Savage's 9/11 show is more centered and focused.

Savage isn't talking about the Lipstick Pseudo-Controversy like his talk radio peers.

Since there is a lull in the thread, I’ll free associate. Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air. Savage will eventually say he was wrong about her. But that’s not really important. Our nation is important.

I knew what you meant to say, Outsider. Your contribution to our thread is much appreciated, Infidel. Even with the lack of regulars, we’re holding our own pretty well tonight. :-D

You do realize that being on The Savage Nation thread will cost you points? You will from now on be labeled as a “savage supporter” by the e-lice that peruse our posting histories for anything “alarming”.
