Our troop always has a “ two - deep” leader policy on any scout event. On most camp outs we have over a dozen adult leaders. In small troops this is often hard to do. The bastard probably became a leader just to mess with young boys, and probably picked a small troop.

Heck, our accountability is so tight that Ive hesitated in the past to have my younger sons scouting friends over to the house while I was the only adult around. Were that careful. We've got a great pack for Weeblos II. Still, best to always have at least two parents at all times. That being said, I'm comfortable with the folks I've known for the past 5 years, but I'm still not taking any chances with any of the kids. Eternal Vigilance...
