I went on their website and couldn’t find one item mentioning who they are, where they are or how to contact them, yet when I went on to sign up for their newsletter, they wanted not only my e mail address, but my home telephone number, complete mailing address and full name.

Once I know who THEY are I will let them know who I am.

It was very well done; the production values were excellent. However, I think the "Vote your conscience" statement at the very end watered down the power of the message. Too many Catholics are supporting the Democrats because they believe that they're better on the 'Social Justice' issues than the Republicans, and they say they're following their consciences to reach that conclusion. They've been taught, wrongly, that their conscience is the most important thing, but NOT that their conscience should be well formed through the teachings of the Church. That's the fault of the Jesuits, and all the people they've taught, from Religious Educaters to College students. A whole generation of Catholics have been poorly educated on this issue of sin and conscience.

LIFE is the supreme issue, and it's difficult to get Catholics to see that sometimes, because since it is the Republican party that is on the side of life, they'd have to fight their old family traditions to support them. Too many Catholics are still Democrats because that's the way their immigrant or union family always voted. Times have changed, but too many are still stuck in the past.

I wonder if Joe Biden, Kerry and Pelosi actually tithe to the Catholic church?

LOL! Most Catholics don't know from tithing! I once saw a description of modern Catholics as having deep pockets, but short arms. The culture of the Church is an immigrant one; many of the large, lovely cathedrals in urban areas were built by immigrants in the mid 19th to early 20th centuries. They didn't have a lot of money, but they gave as much as they could in treasure and talent to build them.

Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, on the other hand, are NOT poor, but they still have the same attitudes as their forefathers, that they don't need to give money, because the more wealthy people will do that. They don't realize that THEY are those wealthy people now, and should be supporting their Parishes and schools.

Nancy Pelosi makes her asinine statement and with the exception of a couple Cardinals, the Church says nothing. And the video shows Biden - a Catholic - running with Obama - a believer in Black Liberation Theology. How do non-Catholics square with that?

You may not have seen it, though it has been in the news. A whole host of Bishops jumped on Pelosi IMMEDIATELY, to point out to Catholics how wrong her statement was. The same thing happened recently with Biden.

The Bishops are NOT letting these statements stand unchallenged this year, and I'm very proud of them for that! I know that our Diocesan newspaper printed a story about the Bishops taking Pelosi to task the weekend after she made her statement, and there were a couple more articles in this week's paper.

Awesome. Did you notice at the end when one ballot is being put in the box and another, sitting on top of the ballot box says “Democratic Official Ballot”?

I saw it on 9/10. It is reminiscent of the “Life! What a Beautiful Choice!” campaign of the early 1990s.
