They had good warning into the events that occurred on 9/11 if only they had delved deeper into the terrorist practice run in 1995 where they were developing plans and training for 9/11.
Of course, the press NEVER brings this up.

Libs hate it because it requires them to actually love their country for a change. Yes, we are questioning their patriotism, because time and time again they run this country down at the drop of a hat.
There are those who would have us surrender our ideals to a group of murderous, fundamentalist whackos half a world away, who would like for nothing more than to see the American eagle clip its own wings and put itself in a cage.
Fortunately, enough Americans love this country too much for that to happen.

Same happened to me. I didn’t linger on that channel very long though. It gives me some small satisfaction that Olbermann is constantly seething with anger. It must be a miserable existence to be perpetually enraged.
Usually, I would have some small amount of sympathy for such a person. In Olbermann’s case it just makes me smile.
No, Mr. Olbermann, it is not the Republicans that have hijacked 9/11. It is the liberals who have abandoned it.
Not only have you abandoned the memories of that tragic day, but also every patriotic principle that underlies America’s response to that event. You have chosen to capitulate to the world, accepting their tepid response as the standard.
And now, you cannot stomach to see Americans being both sad and proud, instead of indifferent and facetious. Like you.
Olbermann’s talent is being wasted.
It would be to the advantage of MSNBC, and what few viewers they have left, to ship the angry, militant Olbermann off to the front lines in Iraq, or Georgia.
I’m feeling the urge to fire off an email to MSNBC, with this suggestion.

I have my flag pin on today. I’ve caught a few smirks and looks from others that say “I wish I had the guts to wear one, but I’m afraid of not being PC.”
What is he joking? If anything this anniv. is a detriment to Republicans because so many have been brainwashed into thinking it was Bush’s fault, or we deserved it because we are such a satan, etc.
Some people still say this attack brings all Americans together, we are no longer liberals and conservatives, but all of us are one, etc. Sadly that is not so.

Olbermann and his ilk have hijacked 9/11 for their own political statements, almost from the very beginning. He’s a two bit political hack whose career owes its good fortune to sitting next to Dan Patrick for a little while.
I think Olberman has misunderstood Chapter 2 of “The Network Anchor Desk for Dummies”.

Well said. What irritates me the most is that guys like this get to spew this crap because men and women better than they could ever hope to be, gave them that right.
