Note that Juan Cole is dealing with the Daily Kos fantasy image of Sarah Palin rather than her actual record. Sarah Palin has never advocated or advanced censorship, teaching of crationism in schools or restrictions on abortion. She has never attributed government policy to God's will, but rather has prayed that government policy reflect God's will, which is a pretty mainstream position, when you think about it. Only a Democrat could hope otherwise. And as far as Global Warming is concerned, Sarah Palin seems to be woefully middle-of-the-road on that score as well.
The Democrats are running against a woman who doesn't exist.
Well, I'm sure that Governor Palin will be surpirsed to learn from this piece that she wears a burqua, lets Todd beat her senseless at will, prays toward Mecca five times a day, regularly beheads Christians and Jews as entertainment, and has a closet full of suicide bomb vests for her jihad in Wasilla and Juneau.

Plus, if lucky enough to get the chance, they’re lining up to see Sarah.
