It seems that to see a very bright GRB the narrow jet has to be pointing precisely at the EarthIf the GRB is close enough and the jet is pointed directly at us the Earth would be fried.

Alex Jones on George Noory's CoasttoCoastAM will reveal that Bush/Cheney arranged for the shot at the Earth.
Reptilian relations of Bush/Cheney aimed their "submission rays" at the Earth. We will all accept the cancellation of the general elections and Bush/Cheney will remain dictators.
Actually Bush-Cheney is one alien reptile that shape-shifts into any human form needed. Elvis even.

If:
something is headed towards you
at the speed of light
(or 99.99995% thereof)
Then:
you won’t see it coming.

When someone says:
“this is what this thing looks like
that is 7.5 billion light years away...”
They are wrong.
That is what it looked like 7.5 billion years ago.

"99.99995(%) of the speed of light..." But not the speed of light... asymptotic.

I’m sure this is Bush’s fault somehow. His failure to support global warming led to this event. Early adoption of hybrids and wind power could have avoided all the negative impact on women, children and minorities.

Hmmmm, this might explain something. Recently I notice that when I've gotten angry that my skin starts turning a little greenish ... and then I kinda black out and when I wake up, I'm usually somewhere else and my shirt has been shredded and my pants are ripped. And I can't find my shoes.
I wonder if it's related....

Gamma rays are photons. They travel at exactly the speed of light, not 99.99995% of the speed of light, or 99.99999995% of the speed of light.

A massive gamma-ray burst detected last March, believed to be the brightest ever seen, turns out to have been aimed directly at the Earth.
Thank goodness the star that caused this wasn't closer - could have been a major extinction event.

ZOMG, someone out there is* shining a gamma ray flashlight at us!
IT'S A SIGNAL!!!
*Or was, roughly 7.5 billion years ago...
