Absolutely it is scary. Could almost be said AIDS is the least of their worries, without exaggerating. That is exactly why feeding into their fantasies is not only NOT loving, it is irresponsible. Telling kids their lifestyles are normal and healthy is abuse and neglect.

At this point, the only people who can credibly criticize the homosexual lifestyle are homosexuals themselves. The rest of us are too easily dismissed as haters, bigots, etc., etc. This guy has performed a service in making this film, but I wonder how much publicity it will receive. Will college kids learn about it? I doubt it.

Mark my words:
Just because you’re gay doesn’t mean you need to hang around with other gay people. It is because of this self-ghettoization that the open-sewer that is the “gay lifestyle” has come into being.
Nip those collectivist impulses in the bud and STAY WHO YOU ARE. You shouldn’t feel alienated because all of your friends are straight; they’re your friends, and what kind of asshole would you be if you dumped them (for a bunch of flamers) just because they were straight?

Actually, when the whole gay-marriage thing was kicking off years ago, there were gays who frankly admitted that marriage was the last thing they were interested in since it would cramp their style (so to speak). Their objections were dampened somewhat by the assurance that with “no-fault divorce”, they could get out fairly easily when something “better” came along.

A friend of mine is a lesbian. She has had three partners. The first she was with, I think 5 years and then that woman found someone else. Then the second lasted 7 years and she found someone else. Then the last one lasted 17 years, until the woman died. What I learned from listening to her tell her stories was that other than the sexual part of the relationship, each was really just two female "room mates" who became (really) close friends. Especially the last woman. When she was sick and hospitalized, my friend stayed with her all night and went to work every morning. The woman was in hospice when she died. My friend broke down and cried as she told me about her.

I now look at homosexuality differently. If a "gay" couple have a close friendship and like each other as a close friend would, then the 'sex' part is not the most important facet of their relationship. I would call these the "friendship-gay" people.

If a "gay" couple are together just to have "sex" all the time and there would be no relationship without the sex, then they're no different from a prostitute and a pimp, which may be why they get into drugs. There's no "love and caring" in the relationship, it's all for sexual gratification. I call these the "druggie-gay" people. This group is definitely not "happy and gay" and it is this group that Paul was referring to, I think.

Well, there's still a certain amount of delusion going on here. Fanshawe may as well tell a clinically depressed person to "cheer up." Or tell an alcoholic to "act normal" when he's three sheets to the wind.

Unless and until homosexual attraction is addressed as the mental disorder that it is, things will never get better for them.

Unfortunately, what the filmmaker suggests--somehow divorcing homosexuality from narcissism, psychological immaturity, nihilism and self destructive behavior is impossible.

May as well ask them to give up sodomy.
