Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., the charismatic, messianic Magic Negro, really should not be burning bridges he may have to cross over again. It is not out of the question that Joe Biden may even yet be dumped from the ticket (remember Sargent Schriver being sent in for Tom Eagleton in 1972).
And the logical substitute? No less a personage than Herself, still the Cold and Joyless. Clearly an act of desperation by the Democrats, but remember, boldness and desperation look a lot alike to the casual observer, and sometimes, it carries the day.
Herself is a much more savvy and battle-hardened combatant than “Slow Joe” Biden, and knows when to turn on the power when it is called for. Whether that would be enough to intimidate Governor Sarah Palin, who is also a pretty strong competitor, is an entirely different question.
Of course, the old “reward” of giving the Vice-Presidential candidate first consideration when picking nominees for the NEXT election, would set Herself right up in the power seat.
If the Obama-Clinton ticket should, against all odds, then be elected (a possibility never to be counted out), Obama’s life would not be worth a plugged nickel. Either he would resign for reasons of “health”, or a mysterious ailment would cause his early demise.
Love the fact that it now appears that he lifted his speech from a Wahington Post Cartoon/lol/
