So why the outrage then? Look, McCain could have chosen Margaret Sanger herself and these women still would not have voted for him. Ditto for the rest of the liberals. I still don’t understand why the Dems got away from the “safe, legal, rare” line that worked for Bill Clinton. Instead they got sucked (no pun intended) into the radical feminist view that sees abortion not as a necessary evil, but as some sort of sick emancipation ritual. A qualification she shares with the mother of a certain candidate for President, who himself considers babies punishment, but who's mom, when unwed and pregnant at 17, opted to marry the father and give birth to the "punishment".
