Russell Campaign Opens Cambria and Johnstown Offices (Johnstown, PA) – The William Russell for Congress Committee has announced the opening of the campaign’s newest offices in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, and Johnstown, Cambria County.
Republican candidate in the 12th Congressional District Bill Russell said, “I am very pleased that our volunteers will have an offices in Westmoreland and Cambria County.”
“Our BOOTS ON THE GROUND campaign is a basic, grassroots effort to reach as many residents of the district as possible, and these offices will provide a much-needed operations center. The Westmoreland office will be located at 638 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, PA and residents are encouraged to stop and join the campaign.
Additionally, Russell Campaign Manager Peg Luksik also announces an OPEN HOUSE at the Cambria County office, located at 407 Franklin Street, Johnstown, Sunday September 14, 2008 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM. “We would like to invite everyone to attend this event,” said Luksik. “This will be a terrific opportunity for Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters to meet Bill face-to-face and talk about the issues they face every day.”Light refreshments will be available.

Couldn’t find any State poll of Representatives, but in Pa, Obama is leading McCain by 47% to 45%...in July it was Obama 49% to McCain 40%, so McCain is making headway in Pa and by Nov he may have coattails that will pull in some GOP Senators and HR’s candidates, including Russell...

Hey, that’s great news on hitting the $2 million mark. And I’m really looking forward to Russell’s TV ad hitting ex-Marine Murtha on Haditha. I especially like that it’s gonna run during the Steelers game, so I pinged Martin, thinking it might call for a Steelers ping. :-)
