I have a Pit Bull (Duke) who has asked me to help him start "Pit Bulls for Palin." Any other pit bull owners out there who would like to put them in the club?

Whoops! That headline was supposed to say “Pit Bulls for Palin.” Pit Bulls for Pain is the other club Duke belongs to.

It just occurred to me that the islamists use pig and ape to describe non islamists and enemies of their culture. This may be a hint to bo’s mentality.

For so long Pit Bulls were known as the loving, playful, intelligent littel dogs they really are. I think it was a pit bull in the old “Our Gang” films. And there were others. Not until the past 20 years or so, when some slime balls started to use them for and as fighting dogs did they get the bad rap they have now. It is a shame what some will do that harms these dogs just to advance their own sense of self-worth!

You can count Quigley in.

You are so right. Duke’s only natural enemies seem to be Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

I have two rednose pits named Fred and Lucy that are for Palin. And in fact, my wife brought home a stray puppy yesterday, which we are giving a home. It’s a boy, but we named him Palin anyway.

Watch out for those stray puppies. We got one of those "free" grocery store dogs awhile back. She was only 4-weeks old (and only 4 lbs) and we were afraid the woman was going to kill the litter if she couldn't get rid of them. So, softie mom took one - not knowing what breed the little one was.
A year and a half later we have found that our teensy weensy puppy is Yellow Lab, Shepard and Pony! She went from 4 lbs to 110 lbs almost overnight. LOL We love her though.

It is a shame what some will do that harms these dogs just to advance their own sense of self-worth! You pit bull apologists can continue to make stuff up, or you can just admit that the dog was bred for fighting. It's literally designed to be aggressive.
I'd characterize a non-aggressive pit bull as an exception to the rule. Keeping a pit bull toned down appears to take vigilant training and diligence. I'd suspect many, if not most, owners aren't that careful.
Like many modern breeds, it is impossible to be completely sure of the details of the American Pit Bull Terrier's long history. However, many pit bull enthusiasts believe the origins of the breed can be traced back to antiquity and the Molossian family of dogs. The Molossian family of dogs bears the name of the people with whom they were most often associated - the Molossi tribe, a group of people who lived in ancient Greece and favored the use of robust, muscular dogs in warfare. Officially termed canus molossi (dogs of the Molossi), these animals were reknowned[sic] for their fierceness, and for their innate ability to intimidate the enemies of the tribe.

Yep, I do firmly believe that Obama meant this comment as a double entende. An outward sign to the Muslims, and a deliberate smear of women in power. Obama clearly has issues with women in authority. It is part of his inherent emotional problem stemming from his dysfunctional family environment. This was not an accidental slip. There had been too much said about the Pit Bull comment for Obama to have incorrectly used the word "pig." And, if he did mistakingly say it, what does that say about his awareness? How could he be so intelligent and make such a stupid
mistake?
He stammered and stuttered...he knew exactly what he was saying, he just had a bit of hesitation saying it and wanted it to come across as a bit of a gaffe. It was not a gaffe...it was deliberate. Proving it was the additional line about "old" fish to refer to McCain. His statements were planned and scripted to be personal attacks, though outwardly he claims that those types of comments are "off limits." He fumes when negative things are said about him or his family, but has no problem saying them about others, or letting them be said. Afterwards, he plays the innocent role. All part of his psychological game to make his sheeple think he is a "nice guy." The theory: Make an issue about what you feel is wrong to do, and then covertly do it and no one would ever believe you could be at fault.
Actually, thank goodness he is so inclined because now he has further alienated the senior voters and women in one fell swoop. His campaign managers are truly stupid!
