Kim Jong-il Recovering After a Surgery
Yonhap News
Kim Sung-ho, the spy chief of S. Korea, said (during a briefing to legislators,) "It could be a stroke or a cerebral hemorrhage, but difficult to characterize his condition in a single word," when asked about what exactly Kim Jong-il is suffering from.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Kim had undergone surgery by a foreign medical team.
Asked about Kim's current condition, he replied, "According to our knowledge, he shows no language deficit, and can move his body."
The spy agency went on to explain that Kim Jong-il have not made public appearances since Aug. 14, and the situation inside N. Korea remains "stable."
It is said that the agency has been collecting and analyzing intelligence since they learned of Kim's health problems, and they are currently conducting in-depth investigation on the subject.
A legislator at the briefing said, "The agency reported that Kim Jong-il has been attending to this illness, and he have had a surgery since 2000."
Another legislator conveyed, "Kim is still in control of the regime."

Ping!
Or die if you don't think so.
Was the stroke or heart attack on Aug 22? If that is the case something went wrong on a planned medical operation on or about Aug 14.
He sounds fit as a fiddle!
I found this:
“A source who is well informed about Korean diplomacy said there was “news that Kim collapsed from a stroke, and that a French doctor went to North Korea on Aug. 22. We are looking into the matter to confirm the validity of the story.” Another source said there are reports that five Chinese doctors arrived in the North at the end of August. An official at the Korean Embassy in Beijing said Monday that the mission had intelligence reports that Kim collapsed on Aug. 22. Kim’s last public appearance was on Aug. 14, when the Korean Central News Agency reported that he visited the 1319 Army Base.”

“Meanwhile, South Korea's intelligence reported that the usual morning military parade at the Kim Il Sung Square to mark the nation's creation did not take place as scheduled. Likewise, Pyongyang did not invite Chinese dignitaries to the event as was regularly done before.”

Is that Captain Peacock?
They are planning a new choreography. ;-)
“Pyongyang did not invite Chinese dignitaries to the event as was regularly done before.”
That and not using his ‘doubles’ makes me wonder if something is going on behind the scenes and we will soon learn that he’s dead, the funeral all planned and his son has taken over.
We’ll be seeing ole Kimmy about as much as we’ve seen ole Fiddle in the last few years. Both dead?
Thanks to Tiger for translating this report.
Could it be a major stroke?
