i noticed with edwards story, it sold pretty well.

i noticed last issue (first palin issue) the stands were still full.

I don’t believe the story. There may be a kernal of truth in that kids try drugs, but the implication here is that he was out of control dope head. On top of that, they slime the daughter again for good measure....pivoting away from the thin Track allegations but adding to an aura of controversy.

This is another of the isssues that would have come out in the vetting questionaire.

Enquirer may be using oxycontin as a wedge to blunt discussion by Rush also.

Charlie Gibson will have an opportunity to ask about this, I’m sure he will.

Did none of their smear writers realize they randomly do drug tests in the military especially right before deployment and training and it woudl have come back positive because the test is not just for pot but narcotics and any unprescribed meds?? The “affair” story hinged on the divorce records that the husband (Todd Palins partner) was frantically attempting to get sealed. The big hype was that there MUST be scandal if he wanted the records sealed.

He failed to get them sealed ands they are public records. They have been examined and there is nothing there regarding any affair with Sara Palin.

There is simply no “there”, there.

Much as I hate to say it, I think the days are gone when one can automatically dismiss tabloid trash as “tabloid trash.”

They’ve gotten quite good at getting at least of kernel of truth sometimes.

That said, if it’s true, I’m sorry to hear of the Palins struggles with Track. Track needs to ensure he stays out of trouble while in the U.S. Army.
