The feeling is familiar. I had it four years ago and four years before that: a sinking feeling in the stomach. It's a kind of physical pessimism which says: "It's happening again. The Democrats are about to lose an election they should win - and it could not matter more."

That isn't a man. He may or may not have the parts, but he isn't a real man. If this jerk walked into a bar where I live, he would probably find himself face down in a garbage can within a half hour. You see these types with all liberal metrosexual reporters. They probably lay alone in bed at night crying about the 'problems' of the world. They should all just get it over with and have sex changes and wear skirts.

“conservative blogger Andrew Sullivan”

I think that tells you all you need to know about this independent spirit.

“...a fleeing from reality, that does indeed suggest a nation in, to quote Weisberg, “historical decline.”
This from a country that used to have an empire, to now banning its “subjects” from possessing, lets see, BB guns now? LOL

I’m Irish by blood. My family has told the British leadership to screw off for a thousand years. What’s 1001 going to hurt?

If a potential U.K. Prime Minister and said the equivalent things they’d never be allowed to reenter the country.

Since “the world” wants Obama so bad, why not ask him to immigrate to one ofthose fine European Countries and select him as their leader?

I’m growing very tired of Europe deciding what we should do in regards to a Black candidate, when they have no long history of Black leaders in their own countries.

In case they forgot, slavery was imported to America from Europe. It did not inititate here.

My sentiments exactly! I am giving this panic stricken loony lib, and his soggy sob story, my “social finger”. I'd also tell him to “sit and spin”, but he'd probably enjoy it to much.

Pitiful, pitiful person.

There WILL be a black president in the near future - but he will be a republican, so that won't count with these people...

I am feeling like I don't have to head for the woods and dig in after all. My kids and grandkids will be safe. We will have 2-3 decades to get the Constitution strengthened back to where it'll be another 200 years before it comes this close to extinction again...

Freedom, indeed, isn't free.

“If the free world could choose its leader, it would be Barack Obama.”

Realizing, of course, that there is a reason one nation rose above the others in becoming the leader of the free world. Obviously it was doing something better than the other has-beens riding in the wake—and not selecting socialist monstrosities like Obama as its leader.

Personal accountability much?

“Euroweanies remind me why I’ll never spend another moment of my life in that crap hole they consider western culture.”

Oh, Europe absolutely is the birthplace of Western culture and its best preserved museum. The problem is that the Europeans aborted their own culture some 50-years ago. Well, it probably began with the French Revolution, but so it goes.

What’s very evident in visiting Europe is how superior their forefathers were to what remains there.

I love it when these european losers try to guilt us into voting for who they want us to. Sadly, he will have to visit his psychiatrist again on November, 5 2008.
