well done toaster winner!!!

and very well done thread poster.. great job!

I wonder if there are any figures on the number of folks in Ohio. It was about 3 hours from my home & I would have gone had I not 2 very pressing deadlines (TODAY) to address.

The Golden Lamb in Lebanon Ohio is a great hotel/restaurant.. old & classy. It is near the bike trail I have been on several times.. and the Little MIami River. The streets & building & storefronts are all so great. Looking forward to seeing pix somewhere on the Internet. It has been about 5 years since I have been there but cant wait to return.. LOVE staying at that hotel & eating there (not cheap however)

General Fox, CEO of Project Hope, was injured by an IED while helping to build a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility for children in Basra.

$$$$$$

Another unsung hero!

And shades of the past. I worked on Project Hope in 1971 in Jamaica.

Kas: thank you for these wonderful pictures of our GREAT president of the last 7+ years, and his incredible VP.

I never wavered in my belief that President Reagan would be considered one of the best by history. I will never waver in my testimony that President Bush has had one of the most courageous and best presidencies in the History of the United States. Fifty years from now I won't be here, but I've no doubt about it.

I, too, will miss him.

As for Gov.Palin: I believe you're take here is right, too. I recommend the article about the culture war coming to a head in Palin/McCain. I think it may be the best philosophical article written on such a subject this year:

The Culture War's Decisive Battle has Begun
