It’s torture to hear him talk.

I can't decide if he can't think of the words or is too busy trying to parse them in a Clintonian legalistic fashion. Initially, I thought it was the second. Now? I'm not so sure that his admitted coke abuse didn't have a more lasting effect.

His breathalizer and inhilator remark, fifty seven states, his claim to have a banking committee, his recent gaffe about being a ‘muslim’— uups. No, I think it’s safe to say his mumbling has nothing to do with legalistic caution. Deep down, he knows it would be best to say nothing.

I agree. I have wondered the same things myself - is he just slow or is he trying to be politically correct and say what he knows his “peeps” want to hear? I tend to think more the second - but either would be bad. I am not sure this man has any original thoughts.
