I hate to throw cold water in your face, but what if the muslim accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord, God and Savior?
Golly gee willikers, isn’t that what Jesus preached? I’m sure your son is a good guy and all but...he’s gotta come up with something better.
If he accepted Jesus Christ, he would no longer be a muslim...
That would make him a Christian. But if he accepts Black Liberation Theology. That makes him a member of a cult. Can you tell me anything about Black Liberation Theology? Because I can give you some things to read. Like articles by James Cone. Founder of BLT.
Do we honestly know if Obama has accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior? I haven’t heard those words out of his mouth — after all these months of rumors one would think that’s the ONE thing he would make SURE to say as it would put the issue to rest.
I’m not saying - “Oh, Obama is DEFINITELY a Muslim!”, I’m just saying that when it comes to Christianity - and he claims to have been a Christian for 20+ years - he seems to have a lot of holes in the theology he has been taught. Perhaps though that’s because he was taught Black Liberation Theology and NOT the Gospel!
At the very least Obama has not been truthful, nor forthcoming about his own beliefs, nor his past and upbringing. In face of the rumors circulating for the last year or so, one would think this would’ve been addressed at SOME point. And, yet, it has not. I think that’s really the issue that leads people to believe there really may be something to all the rumors. If he had been completely truthful and not try to hide some of these things, I don’t think he’d find nearly as many people being skeptical about his stated religious beliefs.
And there are lots of ex-Muslims who have done that -- at which point they are no longer Muslims
What he was talking about are Muslims who only pretend to be Christians in order to better infiltrate the target society
From what I've seen of Rev Wright's "church", Jesus has never been in there.

What will all the other Muslims call the new Christian, and what do they do with apostates who were once Muslim? That’s the real problem for one who would be leader of a nation, not his personal salvation.
