He endorsed Bush. Are Bush's public positions that different than Palin's?

If Palin scares him based on her experience, what does Obama do?

Old Ed has always been a bit of a nut case. Now in his tender years he is clearly showing he is losing it.
Too bad, as he had a great wit about him and speaks his mind without agendas.

Old line pro-security liberal Jews may be turned off by all the false allegations of her supporting Buchanan, creationism in schools, etc.
It would be helpful if Lieberman hits the campaign trail with Palin in Florida.

"If the vice president were ever called on to lead the country, there is no question in my mind that the experience and demonstrated judgment of Joe Biden is superior to that of Sarah Palin." Okay. So did the reporter ask Mayor Koch who, between the two candidates running for President, possesses the superior experience and demonstrated judgment? Hmmmmm???
I bet there's no question in his mind who wins that battle. :-) There's no certainly no question in my mind.

"It's Palin primarily," he said. "She scares the hell out of me." Good. That means she probably scares the hell out of the women-fearing, camel-loving terrorists, too.

Misinformation from a voice of authority scares the hell out of me, Ed. And you are still respected in some quarters. Shame on you, not fact-checking before you speak.

Well, Ed, it’s a good thing NY didn’t have a wimp like you as mayor during 9/11.

Sigh......
Well, Domestic issues are once again trumping national security issues with former crossover Bushies. We are getting further and further removed from 9/11 in all too many people's minds.
Koch endorsing Obama because of domestic issues confirms that Liberals once again believe the world is a safe place, and National health Care and Abortion Rights are the real freedoms being threatened.....
Sigh....

"It's Palin primarily," he said. "She scares the hell out of me." That proves it. Liberals/Democrats are girlie men. Of course, I do think she could whup him, but still, the fact that he's willing to admit it...well, there you go.

“Protecting and defending the U.S. means more than defending us from foreign attacks,” Koch said, citing such concerns as civil liberties, abortion rights, gay rights and access to health insurance.
***Interesting take. Perhaps he could cite where such things are mentioned in the constitution?
