OK, I'm a conservative who is very excited about Sarah Palin.
But, I have noticed over the past couple of days that Gov. Palin keeps using the EXACT same lines and phrases on the campaign trail that she used so effectively in her convention speech last week.
This is not good.
It is making her seem like a one-trick pony and it WILL be noticed by all very soon if she doesn't change up her rhetoric or at least preface such convention quotes with something like "as I have stated before..."
You know it’s probably not normal for a politician to be on TV as much as she has over the past 11 days so I’m guessing if we saw all of them that much (Oh please NOOOOO!) we’d hear the same thing coming from them?
I”m simply saying: Same message, slightly different delivery.
Appropriate in this day and age. I find some people on this board to a little out-dated in their thinking of how politics work in this day and age. Though I do love you guys. I’ve been away awhile and it’s good to see/talk you guys again.

I miss Bob Hope. He would be appalled by Zerobama and Hollywood today.
Naa, it is worth noting, but she is very competent.
Anyway, she’s now studying her brains off on foreign policy and other stuff...she really cannot spend the time tweaking her stump speech.
And she is, unlike Obama, does not plagiarize and does not go into annoying ‘uh-ah-oh-uh-ah-uh...” each time teleprompter is not available and memory fails in recalling a script.
Don't worry, the moose will go after more cabbage.
Ditto!
You made it up and are just being modest!
One troll like thing that you are doing is posting a simple negative and then ignoring a 150 posts which include many thoughtful and sufficient answers, and then returning to your simple negative.
Your vanity has been answered, but you ignore those posts.
So how is your candidate and team doing?
The Posts that you say I am ignoring is exactly what I am fearful of. Do people know that Gov. Palin is going to change her “wording” in the future? In this day and age slight re-wordification is necessary.
This is not posted as a Negative. It is posted as a Concern.
She is new. She has to follow through.
About 22 years ago, I got the “pleasure” of listening to Biden practice his stump speech at my law school, during one of his early runs for the presidency. Booorrrinnng.
When I lived in New York, Mondale swept through my school (Columbia) while he was running for president. Chose not to listen to his stump speech though. (That shows you how old I am. . . .)
I have never had the pleasure of meeting any Republican presidential candidates.
This is VERY common, and if you had an iron stomach and could POSSIBLY stand to follow Obam-uh-uh-uh around, I’m CERTAIN you would hear the same nonsense at every stop! Then again, EVERYTHING Obam-uh-uh-uh says is nonsense, but that’s another issue.
In this 11th day of the campaign and the fifth day of her using a speech similar to her Wednesday speech you posted a vanity and then ignored all most all of the posts to you.
You signed up in 2000 posted once in 2001 and eight times in 2002, talking about your trolling at DU.
Could not agree more.
Yes, for some people.
:-)
STUMP SPEECH. This is what all politicians do as they move from one town to another. They ALL do this. This is nothing to get worried about.
Everybody needs to just calm down and eat some fruit. Dan has not seen Babba Booey yet so Chillax.
Cats P.J.’s just sent a nice donation to Palin, volunteering this weekend to put up signs, man phone banks, writing protest letters to sponsors of leftist creeps. So it’s all good guys. We are winning.
TY. TYVM.
The “stump” speech I want to hear is what Joe Biden says after Sarah Palin removes one or more of his limbs during the Vice-Presidential debate.
