Am I paranoid or is this potentially a serious problem that will totally discredit her?

You’re paranoid. All politicians do this.

No you’re not paranoid, Team McCain blows and they’re going to blow it. You’ve just saw one of the signs...

Give her a chance. Obama has been running on Hope and Change for 2 years, and he is the real one trick pony. He hopes he can change his lines, or mind, or position on the surge, or or or.

“You’re paranoid. All politicians do this.”

This is true too...

“as I have stated before...”

Unfortunately, Nobama has already patented that phrase to mean “I’m lying”...

Fixable. She ran 14 minutes of her 35 minute speech from memory or her own words/style so there IS something there.

But if I hear the term ‘hungry markets’ again I’ll wanna puke myself. It’s like when McCain says ‘my friends....’. Arghhhh.

But it still beats socialism with a shinier, blacker face.

If you follow any of these politicians from town to town day after day this is what you will find . With the 24/7 media trying to emphasize this , and try to make it look peculiar to Governor Palin , yes it is a problem .

It is called the stump speech. They can’t write new speeches for every stop.

You’re not paranoid. I’m already hearing liberals point this out.

I can't even count the number of times McCain has said his "I'll make them famous" line, of pork barrel lobbyists. He repeats it in every stump speech because it is a good line and it polled well in focus groups etc. Political junkies vastly overestimate the number of times any given ordinary person hears word one from any given candidate...

All candidates have canned speeches they repeat quite often.

She should be able to add a few new lines to her pitch, she is capable. She’s very spontaneous in interviews, she should just be herself.

Am I paranoid

I think so. Palin is at least talking in complete sentences. Obama has been repeating the same "Hope Change" platitudes for 2 years and his admirers are still swooning every time he says them.

Every time Palin says "Lipstick" the crowds are going to go crazy.

Worry about something else.

I already heard something to this affect on Fox.

I don't think it's entirely uncommon. I remember going to see President Bush in '04 and his speech had the same lines as well. But as we saw with the "somebody else wrote her speech" argument, they'll certainly start in on it regardless. I'm guessing it will be the "issue of the day" tomorrow or the next.

She'll be starting to do one-on-one interviews soon where this shouldn't be an issue.
