Obama blasts White House rivals' 'change' pitch

FLINT, Michigan (AFP) — Democrat Barack Obama savaged his White House opponents John McCain and Sarah Palin Monday as hypocrites who were trying to hoodwink US voters with a late conversion to the mantra of change.

With polls suggesting the White House race is now deadlocked or turning to McCain's favor, Obama hurled some of his sharpest language yet in attacking both the Arizona senator and the Republican's new running mate from Alaska.

At a meeting with workers here in the heartland of Michigan's distressed auto industry, the Illinois senator said he himself had been running as the change candidate for 19 months.

"And I guess it must be working, because all of a sudden John McCain's saying 'I'm for change too'," Obama said as Palin's entry to the Republican ticket shakes up the hard-fought race for the November 4 election.

Now for the big question - how many people did Obama manage to bring in this time? He had 800 in Indiana the other day, and Biden had 200 in New Jersey. How many folks turned out in Michigan to hear Obama? Cause if it’s in the hundreds, it only goes downhill from here.

You must be in the lead to hear footsteps behind you, today’s USA Today/Gallup poll has McCain/Palin up by 10 POINTS.

I wish McCain would drop that change BS and concentrate on the oil—WOT —SCOTUS—taxes

Give Bush credit for the WOT and for cutting taxes and ending the recession and for trying to get the dems to end their stupid energy policy

Um no zero zorro, or should that be zero soros, anyway...

McCain is saying ....hes for REAL change.
You can talk the talk but McCain walks the walk.

He is sounding desperate. Add this to the “my Muslim faith” thing yesterday, and today telling the NYT that terrorists “have legitimate claims” and it seems that, facing real pressure for the first time in his 19 month campaign, Barack Obama is imploding.

Umm, not from behind him he isn’t. Someone is struggling with the fact that he is unable to provide the details and substance that the voters want. Thus, his empty container of “change” has been filled and is now owned by McCain.

Pl’ Glass Jaw’s at it again. I LOVE watching this marxist pansie lose it whenever anyone dares to challenge him. His nasty snarl. His glare. His face, twisted with rage at anyone crossing him. His uh...uh...uh... wordlessness whenever he doesn’t have something to read. LOL! I’d like to see Obama and Sarah in a cage match.

Obama runs on the premise of ‘new kind of politician that transcend race, party, and ideology.’ The more he attacks McCain, let alone Palin, the more he looks like ordinary politician. In fact, he is an ordinary politician. The only extraordinary thing about Obama is that he changes his position on issues very fast and often.

...Obama is that he changes his position on issues very fast and often.

Most would identity this as a man who has traits of having no substance at all, an unprincipled individual.

The reality he actually has a very defined, substantive agenda that is not one that Americans will support.

Hence, he must hide this fact by trying to hoodwink enough by flopping around until power is granted.

It is scary and is the real reason we must be on alert as the Media refuses to do its job by calling him on the carpet.
