Can we be sure there will not be a repeat of abandoning social conservatives after the election, as has happened before? Although it looks more promising now.

Will McCain do that? To some degree, probably yes.

Will Sarah do it? She's someone who "walks the walk"; she'd have to essentially surrender her core beliefs to abandon social conservatives. No, I think Sarah will remain solid.

Bush didn’t abandon us...I suspect McCain won’t either.

No. A dog usually returns to it’s vomit.

I’ll probably vote for Gov. Palin, but I’m not doing so thinking that the GOP is suddenly going to turn over a new leaf and treat conservatives any better than a battered spouse. It won’t. But it’s important to have conservative leaders regardless of their choice of political party.

If you could jump into a time machine and see a very young Ronald Reagan starting out in politics, would you support him? I think all of us would say YES! Well, here we have a woman who has the potential to be an American Margaret Thatcher. Will I support her? Regardless of my strong personal distaste for the GOP, I’m going to have a hard time saying anything other than YES!
