Does Bambi ever say anything other than “Let me correct/clarify what I said last...”?
To: Gamecock
Gee, I thought you were the Word. And you keep getting tangled up in them.
Yey, thou spakest and the meaning was dumb.

"Probably," Obama said. "Yes. I mean, what I intended to say is that, as a Christian.... Its funny that Obama has to say the same thing about his patriotism, which tells me he's neither Christian or a patriot!

George and Obama are now chatting about Augustine?
Isn’t that special!
Can you say, “too cerebral?”

The guy demonstrates bad judgment over and over again.
The surge, Georgia, his church, his associations, etc etc on and on and on.
Are people waking up to this?
I hope so.

This is not the only “flip”, off the cuff statement that Obama has made—there have been too many to name. Definitely not executive material, much less for the highest office in the land. A “flip” comment to the wrong head of state could quickly turn into a crisis.

He’s definitely not a Bible believing Christian.
There are so many beliefs that he espouses that are definitely un-Christian...
Victoria Jackson, yes, the SNL blonde, has a great blog on the issue. http://www.victoriajackson.com

...but also the first century catechism (the Didache or Teaching of the Twelve Apostles) said: 'You shall not slay the child by abortions. You shall not kill what is generated.' I'd be interested in an explication here -- especially in dating the origin of this.

"It goes back to Augustine," Stephanopoulos interjected. What an ignorant statement. It goes back to Genesis. When God created man, he intended the line to produce human offspring. And not once in the history of man, has a woman ever given birth to a monkey, bird, or fish.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

What I do know is that abortion is a moral issue...HOW is it a moral issue, Obama? Is it because abortion is clearly the death of a human life? Duh!
These lefties always want to straddle the fence when it comes to abortion and the media never calls them on it. When John Kerry said "I'm personally against abortion but..." the media never asked WHY he was personally against abortion.

"It goes back to Augustine," Stephanopoulos interjected. Thanks, Nancy Pelosi.
It actually goes back to the Scriptures and the Didache.
The Didache alone was written 250 years before Augustine was born.
It's like saying "The US Constitution goes all the way back to David Souter."
