Obama bill in Il called for Islamic Day and Islamic food inspections?(Title altered to fit)

One of the first bills Obama wrote in the Illinois General Assemby was a declaration that 1 Nov 1997 would be Islamic Day.

Early on in the primaries it was heatedly debated over whether Senator McCain was a conservative, or not.

Somehow those concerns have evaporated. Perhaps we should all still be asking ourselves questions like “Is he really turning right?”

One way to do it is for Larry Sinclair’s “trumped up” Delaware charges to be exposed as political fixing by Biden’s influence. What ever else you might think of Sinclair’s claims, the arrest without warrant and the refusal of the courts in Delaware to even provide evidence in the charges against Sinclair has the potential to blow up in Biden’s face.

Biden could then be asked to “withdraw” because of “troubling” questions regarding the Sinclair issue. As for Sinclair, there may be other ways to have him “disposed” of...the Clintons are the masters of it!

Well, since November 1 is All Souls Day or All Saints Day, it may be of interest to the Catholic ping lists.

I know this is old material but it's part of obama's legislative history and makes all his comments about his muslim ties look like the lies that I think they are.

Apparently, folks didn’t bother to actually look up the bill in the Illinois state legislature database, because the summary description is WRONG. It only removes a few words, but they are significant words which change the meaning of the bill completely:

It does’t call for “Islamic Day” at all.

What is this, exactly? Well, it’s a bill that is a lot like many other bills passed in state legislatures that recognize local people and organizations for things that they have done or awards that they’ve received. This ranges anywhere from local journalists who have won Pulitzer Prizes to winners of beauty pageants. So what horrendous acts of terror did this particular organization do in order to be recognized by their state legislature?
