"You could flip a coin and be about as predictive," he (Sabato) says. "It is really surprising how quickly convention memories fade."True enough, but the Palinmania which lit up St. Paul will carry the enthusiasm forward in a very atypical post-convention environment.

And they buried the most important news of a 10 point lead in likely voters down in the 7th paragraph. Typical USA Today.

We need to act and plan as if its the other way around. (good news, though...)
Yup, we need to run up the score, New England Patriot style!

Most people are here because they are politically active and are definitely going to vote. A lot of us even donate and volunteer.
We KNOW it’s not over, and we need to work hard. This is all about the battleground states.

In the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/ 3 points for both samples.

Wow—is this the first time McCain has gone over 50%?
A ten-point difference?
Wow. Good convention bounce.

I don't trust Obama's people, if the polls keep showing a huge lead for McCain/Palin, we all need to pray for their safety!
Seems the left radicals will do anything to win this time! Scary!

We now see why Obama and his fellow travellers in the press have been so rattled—their internal polling has been telling them this.

And we have to be ready for a couple of Budd Dwyer moments in the Main Stream Media. they are flipped out of their minds.
To: LdSentinal
this explains a lot ... the Dems seem to have been in meltdown mode for the past few weeks. I noted last week that their internal polling has them in a panic.
Now I can see why.
It would seem, certainly at this point, that the Lefties have a case of Premature Obamaculation.

I knew, the daily polling yesterday had to be 10%+
This bounce is going to be huge.
No wonder Bambi is worried and trying to get his face everywhere.

We need to be ready for the outcome and plan for them to decieve, lie and cheat. Going to be ugly. Race riots if McCain wins. And I won't rule out riots similar to those that occur when a major league sports team wins the world championship if BO wins.
