ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Sen. Barack Obama's foes seized Sunday upon a brief slip of the tongue, when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity but accidentally said, "my Muslim faith."
The three words -- immediately corrected -- were during an exchange with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," when he was trying to criticize the quiet smear campaign suggesting he is a Muslim.
But illustrating the difficulty of preventing false rumors about his faith from spreading, anti-Obama groups within one hour of the interview had sliced it out of context and were sending it around via email. They also were blogging about it.
Mr. Obama, who is a Christian and often proudly speaks about how his faith has influenced his public service, said he finds it "deeply offensive" that there are efforts "coming out of the Republican camp to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith."

Yeah, it “accidentally rolled” off his tongue and he didn’t even realized what he had said. If it rolls that smooth, it was more then likely the truth. Muslims have been known to lie. Muslims have been known to live like us old ordinary folk until the time to show their true colors.
He’s been preened for this assignment folks. How much clearer does it have to be. The media is giving up our freedoms just so they can say they helped the commies in the WH, no matter what the consequences.

How do we know he graduated at the top of his class at Harvard?
Barry/Barak is one mixed-up man. What other convert to Christianity would say by mistake in a public interview: “My Muslim faith?” “My Jewish faith.” “My Buddist faith.” etc.
If a person has internalized the new religion to which he has formally converted (a big deal in someone’s life), then he knows who he is, expecially when the very topic is under discussion. People would not make the mistake they’re saying Obama’s gaffe was.
It seems clear that he still holds in his heart the religion into which he was brought and taught as a young person. Most people would. This guy is a pretender in all areas of his life and is not qualified to be president. His close friends throughout his adult life have been guilty of high crimes against the U.S. and his mentor of blood curdling bigotry. These facts alone should have disqualified him from public office a long time ago.
It’s easy when you’re getting the educational equivalent of “carbon credits” because of you, uh, ethnicity.
Funny he didn’t accidentally say “My Jewish faith” or “My Hindu faith.” Nope, he said “muslim.” And there was a reason for that.

So, he was discussing the rumors out there, that says he was a Muslim. 0bama, however, caved in when Stepheopolous tried to correct him, "You meant your Christian faith?"...
"Uh.. yeah, my Christian faith"
This agreeing to the correction, IMO, confused people of what he meant in the first place because with the correction it becomes,
"You're absolutely right that John McCain has not, uh, talked about my Christian faith.."
Why would there be rumors about his Christian faith? Such talk will be open, as how come a Christian believes in abortion, or stayed in a church whose pastor said God Damn America... It won't be a rumor...
Well.... Muslims are in the middle of ramadan....

It’s a slip of the tongue. It deserves no more attention than Dan Quayle’s potato thing.
All I want to hear from Obamba is that he DOES NOT believe that Allah is god, or that Mohammad is his only prophet. In those words.
Remember, all muslims say they believe in Jesus.
