Maybe, just maybe the main part of the storm will wind up hitting Mexico and missing Texas. If that happens, in terms of the US, it will be the luckiest miss ever.

These things tend to curve right before landfall. A Mexico hit would not be good here.

IKE seems to keep movin’(track)more to the south than the

Forecasts kept sayin’,,,(JMHO),,,

NOAA Floater - Visible Loop shows it tracking due west as I see it,,,(21.8?N)

Hit the forecast point west bound,,,not WNW-NW as the next

point shows,,,

That 5 day track mite shift more south(west)yet...

My spideyweight sense is tingling. Bull redfish will be rolling in on every high tide along upper Texas coast passes the next few days.

/we use something called spider weights to keep our baits down in the mad pass current. They are typically 8 oz weights with long copper spider legs that come out and are bent halfway at 45 to grapple the sand. It looks like a 4 legged spider.
