These things tend to curve right before landfall. A Mexico hit would not be good here.

My spideyweight sense is tingling. Bull redfish will be rolling in on every high tide along upper Texas coast passes the next few days.
/we use something called spider weights to keep our baits down in the mad pass current. They are typically 8 oz weights with long copper spider legs that come out and are bent halfway at 45 to grapple the sand. It looks like a 4 legged spider.
