I couldn’t believe Willie Brown wrote this either, until I read some of his other columns. He was the smartest politician in CA and now that he is retired he doesn’t have to be partisan and he calls it like he sees it.

I could, Brown IMO has always been one of the more honest guys on the left. To his own fault.
