"By the way, a note to John McCain: Get rid of the suits.
McCain is best with an open collar, his sleeves rolled up and in a Western shirt.
He doesn't come off well in suits at all.
They make him look old.
And Cindy - keep the hair up."

the Palin bandwagon needs to roll for only two months
Good call, Willie. The liberal press has only 60 days to get the bloom off Palin’s rose, and the more they try, the better it is for her.
What a masterstroke of brilliance this selection has become.

and the press will treat her like they treated Obama when he was first discovered. And just when is this going to start?

Palin floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.
The last person who did that adopted a Muslim name.

He is, in effect, favorably comparing her to The Greatest, the black icon, one of the most well-known people in the world, Muhammad Ali.
Wow.

I like his last (unrelated) snippet at the link:
By the way, there's a new dining tip for people going out in Oakland.
Be sure to order soup.
That way when the robbery starts, you can slip off your jewelry and drop it into soup so the robbers won't see it.

I generally agree with his points -- except for this one: "If she can answer questions like she handled herself at the convention, Palin will turn out to be the most interesting person in all of politics, and the press will treat her like they treated Obama when he was first discovered."
Sarah severely "dissed" the East Coast liberal establishment media. she refused to show deference and fealty, refused to kiss their rings, and then poked them in the eyes (I wanted to say pissed on their shoes, but Sarah is a lady). They are REALLY angry, and they're going to be after her tooth and nail.

And Willie Brown is a man who I disagree with politically (putting it mildly), and he’s slicker and more ethically, um, agile in many ways than the other Willie ever was, but the guy is a smart old pro. When he looks at her, then turns back to the Dems and says, “Guys, you’re in real trouble”, that means a lot.

At breakfast in a Manhattan diner this morning, 2 dispirited liberal women were bemoaning the fact that Sarah would not be appearing on the Sunday talk shows.
And then the funny part was that they started tearing into Obama for being such a bad candidate. They really seemed to be resigned to an Obama loss.
They looked like the typical late-50ish, look-like-a-man lesbians that support Hillary, so they were probably PUMAs.

How dare anyone use that to describe Palin. Cassius Clay was a conscientious objector as opposed to Palin who’s proud her son is serving his country.

If the McCain campaign points out that Obama will likely be greenlighting a Dem congress, it would also present choice between Palin and Nancy Pelosi - that is a favorable matchup, and the comparison will drive the woman further into deep batshi# insanity. This is also a perfect framework for the oil drilling argument.

BS line of the decade. the press will treat her like they treated Obama when he was first discovered.
