English has infiltrated almost every aspect of Chinese culture including the sex profession...

Yes, in China, the prostitutes I have encountered know English, but it isn't very good English. It doesn't have to be. It's more like, "Hey! F***! 100 Yuen!" How much more do they need to know?
P.S. No, I have not used their services. They come after people on the street, and are not subtle.

I hope you don’t get any ideas about adjusting your “fees”.

I’ve heard some of those stories. I’ve heard how some reach right down to certain parts of the body, which immediately gets a man’s attention.

I was shocked by the number of our Engineers sent to China for assignments running for 1 to 6 months — who ended up marrying their “girl friends”....
The working girls must be targeting foreigners - especially Americans - to get them out of China and to the world they see only on television and the movies..

I’ve heard stories about Karaoke TV (KTV) girls. Modern day geishas, more or less.

The same thing happens on nearly every overseas US military base. As we used to say, they are looking for the land of the “Great PX.”

Beat me to it. Back when I was an engineering faculty member there was a running joke that the international language of science is broken English.
