Same comment I have about Obama. A leftist with the gift of oratory is still a leftist.

Ruminating...On the one hand, the internet has reduced the ability of the MSM to destroy a person, a la Eagleton. On the other hand, when the MSM becomes, practically-speaking, completely corrupt, it
uses the internet to do its dirty work, thus attempting to maintain its power to control outcomes.
It hasn't worked so far against Gov. Palin, but it's pretty scary to watch.

Yes, I have a comment. Thanks for the post.
Perfect in the context of today’s VP, who’s being besieged but not doubted by the faithful.
For my money, McCain would never be tepid about supporting her.

If the media gangs up on you - the only choice is to fight back. Richard Nixon did and went on to be Vice President for two terms in the 1950s.

I'm convinced these stories are attempts to tie Palin to Nixon in some way.
Nixon in fact was corrupt. The charges against him did have some merit. Nixon had to make a great speech to cover up his own corruption.
The charges against Palin have no foundation. Palin's speech wasn't trying to cover up or compensate for anything.

McCain deserves credit for discovering someone that in her own version is almost a new Reagan.
How the heck did Nixon get into this?

Obama is the Crook& Commie trash Nixon was referring to in his speech.

Wonderful perspective! I believe that Watergate came about from the President's belief that he would find proof of the International Communist movement bankrolling or directing treasonous Democrats! I do not regret voting for Nixon in '72.
