Speculation is that that Baldwin and Barr are stepping aside so that Paul can become the nominee of both the Constitution and Libertarian Parties The Montana Constitution Party has removed Chuck Baldwin from the ballot and is putting the ticket of Ron Paul for President and Michael Peroutka on the ballot for Vice-President.

Mark my words, McCain-Palin will win in a landslide. Obama won’t win more than 10 states.
It won’t be close enough for a third party to make a difference.

Heh JV! How have you been my FRiend? Thanks for the ping. Yes, I got a good laugh.
If Paul does not join the race, maybe he has written and delivered an official declaration of surrender to al Qaeda and he plans on telling the American public Obama has accepted our surrender.

Over in the sense that is Campaign was based specifically on his character, if he crawfishes on that, what is left other then a odd Congressmen from TX?
I’d hoped McCain/Palin wins, and Paul formed a new guerilla wing of the Republican Party, one that is Ultra Conservative and would have enough credibility to challenge some of the DC shenanigans.

“Vote for Ron Paul, because the delusional deserve representation too!”
Oh wait, I forgot about the Democratic party, never mind, there is now officially no reason to vote for Ron Paul.
Doesn't he have a house seat in Texas, wonder how his constituents feel about this?

Yea, you don't want to split up that third party vote.
If the Libertarians throw this election to Obama, they won't be getting the country running to them in the next election like the dream.

So there is a possibility of Paul reneging and running third party. And let's don't forget Nader.
Can this get any crazier???

Just wait till the debates when soccer moms, NASCAR dads, the wishy washy undecided voters get a look at Obama without a teleprompter. He won’t win more than 10 states (maybe the Democratic People’s Republic of NY, NJ, CT, MA, CA, WA, MD, VT)
Did you listen to Rush’s show on Friday when he played the clip of Obama stumbling remarks?
I almost felt bad for the poor guy.

Let me help you rewrite you post a little here if you don't mind jv:
The guy is a lunatic.
jveritas writes:
Despite the fact that Ron Paul has the highest rating of any Congressman by the National Taxpayers Union, I can not support him for POTUS because I disagree with his foreign policy and quite frankly, from a personality perspective, he is not Presidential material. That's much better.

A while back, Paul was asked whom he would vote for if he weren't running. He came up with two names: Dennis Kucinich and Chuck Hagel. It is very telling to me that he chose these two men. Kucinich is a left wing crazy, and Hagel is a RINO who supports Obama. For all Paul's talk about being pro-life and being anti-big government, he picks two people who are totally pro-abortion and pro-big government. If I were to make a bet on whom Paul would prefer to win the White House, Obama or McCain, I think I could safely bet on Obama.

Eric you are absolutely right. I can’t remember which 10 I predicted for 0bama, but they are the usual suspects; the NE, Minnesota, and the Left Coast.
