Today, top McCain aide Rick Davis indicated the campaign isn't in any hurry to slot Palin for a Sunday show appearance -- and will do so only if he and other strategists determine it serves the ticket's purposes, not because some may view it as a required initiation for a major political player.
Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show, Davis said, "I'd never commit to anything in the future. ... Our strategy is in our hands, not the media's. We're going to do what's in our best interests to try to win the election. If we think going on TV news shows are [sic] in our best interests, we'll do it. If we don't, we won't."

Waaaaaahhhh...
Like maybe she’ll be in church, kinda like a lot of the rest of us Christians...?
Good
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
The news media need to be invited into our den to be examined and cross-examined. They are the ones who committed the atrocities. They have something they should answer for.
Waaaaaahhhh.. Waaaaaahhhh..
We didnt get to run Sarah through our gauntlet. Andrea Mitchell does not approve
Waaaaaahhhh..Waaaaaahhhh..Waaaaaahhhh..
I was thinking the same thing...
Media looses if they try and play "whack a mole" with Gov. Palin.
They had their chance to be fair; they blew it.
Someone mentioned that Biden did not appear on the weekend after the Dems convention
Good for McCain, it tickles me...serves them right.
Since the MSM has been so “nice” to Palin and McCain...

So what does one make of John McCains frequent appearances on the Sunday morning talk Shows?
what a hoot. let ‘em wait.
and wait.
Take that, Punditocracy!
I wouldn’t want my VP running mate on these shows if all it was going to be was a bunch of sick, old white guys asking my VP running mate if she had an affair with (Fill In The Blank) as is being reported in the National Enquirer.
They got a slot on 60 minutes.
What these clowns are missing is that she does not need to “study up” to figure out what she believes. She has to be certain how to explain what JOHN MCCAIN believes. There are even some idiots on the right questioning where she stands on issues. Attention idiots: from now until at least November 4th, she stands for whatever John McCain stands for - that’s how it works.
I have no doubt they will belittle her once she does start doing the shows, saying “she’s just parroting McCain’s positions.” That’s what she is supposed to do!
Right now she needs to be on the road with McCain, “striking while the iron is hot” to whip up enthusiasm and speak to large crowds of people. Interviews will come - who cares when?
I wouldn’t care if she missed it to election. The people who watch the Sunday shows are the same people on the internet. Screw the MSM
To be honest...I think she will eventually make the circuit..but she has to spend the next two weeks cramming McCain’s policies, strategies, etc. We wouldn’t want her going on TV right away possibly saying something that doesn’t jive with the McCain campaign..it would be awkward if they contradicted each other...
That he goes to church Friday or Saturday?
