Boxer Bullies Senate's Birth Doc (ATTN McCain Campaign!!)

In July, federal authorities indicted Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, on corruption charges on the grounds that Alaska's Prince of Earmarks concealed hundreds of thousands of dollars of gifts and improvements to his Alaska home provided by a powerful oil services company. Also this summer, amid the mortgage meltdown, newspapers reported that a number of senators -- including Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.; Kent Conrad, D-N.D.; and Barack Obama, D.-Ill. -- were the beneficiaries of sweetheart home loans.

In June, the Senate Ethics Committee began an initial look into Dodd's and Conrad's discounted Countrywide Financial VIP loans, as is fitting. Meanwhile, with all of the ethics stink bombs lurking in Washington, the committee, chaired by California Democrat Barbara Boxer, is aiming its guns at Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., for "a serious violation of Senate rules."

Coburn's bad? An obstetrician by profession, Coburn won't heed the committee's threat to reprimand him for delivering babies back home in Oklahoma -- for free.

If EVER there were an issue that Sarah Palin could incorporate into her speeches to show how out of touch the Washington insiders (ie Senate Demorats) are, it is this. With her pro-life, family values bonafides, she could use this issue to skewer Joe 'plugs' Biden in the debate if the question of ethics arises.

Even before the debates, she should be pounding the messiah and plugs for not calling off their collegue Barbara Boxer. To keep Dr. Coburn from delivering babies for FREE is outrageous.!!

This is such a trage rich environment I personally wouldn’t know where to begin. But I have a suggestion. Just keep exposing the hypocrisy in every speech she does. They’ll be in such panic as she now has the authority and support of the American electorate that they’ll be skidding in their BVDs or Depends.

Barbara Boxer Bouncer violated Senate ethics by bouncing 144 checks without punishment, during the Congressional banking scandal.

Boxer, career criminal.

Boxer, career criminal.

But more moderate in her support for abortion than Barack Obama.

“Boxer is an embarrassment to human kind.”

She is a cretin. Whenever she speaks, something is subtracted from the sum total of human knowledge.

I agree. Here is a guy that is providing free health care (which the Democrats proclaim to love but we all know it's so they can control who gets what) and the go after him instead of their Democrat colleagues that are getting sweetheart deals for the mortgages. To include the latest info on Joe Biden and Charlie Rangel.

Democrats are the posterchildren for corruption. The funny part is they think they deserve it rather than it being something bad.

Another good reason to bring this issue up. It combines the dems hypocracy on earmarks with Coburns and Palins conservative prolife stances. The two dovetail together perfectly and she could cmask obamabiden with it. Preventing a doctor from providing free medical care to poor pregnant women because he opposes Democrats earmarks and corruption is something that can be easily understood by the voter.

Heck, Sen. Coburn pays out of his own pocket for his malpractice
insurance, travel costs, etc.

Folks like Boxer hate him not just because he calls the Dems
(and some Republicans) out for voting on bills without debate!

Boxer and Co. hate Coburn because he actually can do something
productive, being an accountant before he went to med school.
And (IIRC) being one of the class of 1994 that served three terms
in the House...and honored his pledge to quit, sitting out until
he ran for Senate.
