Amen!!!
I'm on propain for my furnace. The rest is their stupid electric... Phoey!!!
That's why they are against owning guns: they can't control their own urges.
If this khunt had had a gun, she might very well have used it, as it fits with the typical tyrant tradition where no room exists for differences (of opinion in this case).
I don't think that's the case. There are a significant number of people over here on the pro-traditional-marriage side who were once pro-gay or even thought of ourselves as being gay. I'm one of them.
I am convinced that each and every sexually confused person who supports the gay agenda has the potential to change by coming to a knowledge of the truth.
It requires a certain boldness on our part about presenting the truth, and also a certain delicacy.
That is our job, like the job of the Eleven on the day of Pentecost: to seek the lost and extend the gift of salvation in Ouf Lord.
Mrs. Don-o, I've had gay relatives, friends, employees, and neighbors-- I've written plenty here about how we live next door to a couple of gay women, and get along with them just fine.
I used to go out of my way to defend gay folks, but when they started this gay "marriage" idiocy, and started proselytizing to schoolkids, they lost me.
Here's what I was reactting to: Melinda said that the "they should be shot" mentality is becoming "the same for both sides," I suppose meaning that5 both sides would like he others to be eliminated, destroyed.
But this is terribly wrong. But I attitude that yearns for a violent "ultimate solution" should be rejected, because our aim is not to obliterate gay people, but to oppose the forces which push them deeper into this miserable disorder. In every case we are commanded to love them as brothers and sisters, knowing that what God intends for them is life, healing, and holiness.
We were wondering if everything was o.k.
Glad things are better for you.
Been there, done that -- in 1992, the firm I was working for went out of business without ANY warning ten days before Christmas and left us all on the street. But everything worked out o.k.!
Your support group is a good idea, y'all should stick together. If you have a sympathetic bishop or pastor maybe you can get some help of some sort -- like a better nonprofit to volunteer for, or something . . . . or at least get the word out through neutral channels about the hell with fluorescent lighting . . . .
I'll tell you what, though, the experience gave me a whole new perspective on catastrophic disease and what sort of family support is necessary for those who are victims of it. Talk about needing marriage to be strong and living the culture of life.
Well, you can view it as a “learning experience” I guess . . . that’s how I try to look at it! < g >
These people are in for the rudest (nad perhaps final) shocks of their lives one day.
That is our job, like the job of the Eleven on the day of Pentecost: to seek the lost and extend the gift of salvation in Our Lord. That is our job, like the job of the Eleven on the day of Pentecost: to seek the lost and extend the gift of salvation in Our Lord.
Agreed, but when the hunt is over (seeking the lost) it will be more of a Joshua scenario. That is why I said ultimate when end result might have been a better way of saying it. On the other hand, in the last days, He will fight our battles, so I guess we need to exercise our faith in the only King recognized in the USA.
You could go solar!
I believe that we can select alternate electric suppliers.
Gay marriage would separate marriage from procreation, mother and father, and blood relatives if there are any children involved. Basically, it would remove biology from the concept of marriage and family and turn marriage into an institution dedicated to recognizing significant adult relationships. The kids just sort of fit in there somewhere, but they’re no longer the main point. With marriage and biology separated, the future would not be important because the kids would have haphazard families which revolve around adult desire.
Left-wing radicals have sought to deconstruct marriage. They apparently feel “oppressed” by marriage. Rather than not getting married and leaving the institution for other people, they want to destroy it for everyone.
Unfortunately, young people especially have been trained to think of homosexuals and lesbians as oppressed, and anyone opposed to gay marriage as “racist,” “hateful” and bigoted”. Taking up a radical cause is very appealing to the young because it allows them to feel self-righteous and powerful. Because their response to this issue is based on emotion, it is very difficult to reason with these people. I can only hope that once young people start having their own children, they may change their minds.
“Melinda said that the “they should be shot” mentality is becoming “the same for both sides,” I suppose meaning that5 both sides would like he others to be eliminated, destroyed.

You are mistaken, I didn’t say anything at all like this, please reread my comment and leave me out of your disagreement.
I apologize. Somebody calling herself "Melinda" wrote the above; I must have gotten her mixed up with you. Sorry for the error.
Wita wrote that TO me, not I to Wita. No problem, I just couldn’t figure out why I was being responded to while citing something I didn’t write.
OH! Thanks for the clarification.
