I dropped the photos onto a Photobucket account.

Then opened each pic and copied the address into the original note.

What I didn't do, and hop I have fixed, is to copy the HTML link that gets generated BELOW each image on Photobucket. That SHOULD show the image and not make people click onto the link to be able to view the images.

Lets hope they come out better this time.

This wasn't just "small' Flags, some were full size on the pole, American Flags. Not unlike the size and the type, the color guard uses.

The number of flags discarded were over 12,000...that's a lot of flags, big, little or medium sized to be desecrated.

Nothing is ever “stored” at a convention center days after an event is over. If it’s not out in 24 hrs. (usually more like 12 hrs.), it’s trash—and everybody in the trade knows this.

There's another great McCain Hanoi Hilton story told by another POW, but I can't remember his name. The story went something like, "I managed to get information in my solitary cell thanks to being told the tap code by the guy in the solitary cell next to me." Also I think it mentioned how that same guy taught him the rudimentary acoustic knowledge the POW's developed to communicate through their cells often at quite a distance in conjunction with the tap code. At some point, you find out that the guy that taught the storyteller these things was none other than John S. McCain.
