DFU YouTube: Paul Potts Sings THE OPRAH and Sarah Palin (a Sarah appearance not discussed?)

ENJOY THE YOUTUBE MOCKING OF THE OPRAH ON YOUTUBE

THE OPRAH is trapped. She endorsed and appeared for Barack Obama. He was on her show twice. But what about Sarah Palin, who's acceptance speech was seen by 37 million people? We are to believe that THE OPRAH doesn't want to use her show for a political platform. We are to believe that she and her staff have not even had a discussion about having Sarah on the show. THE OPRAH is lying. She has painted herself into a corner and doesn't know how to get out without knocking a hole in the drywall.

Oprah Denies Report She’s Balking at Having Palin on Show
Fox News ^ | September 05, 2008

Oprah taking sides?

The queen of talk says it ain’t so.

Winfrey reacted strongly Friday to a report posted on the Drudge Report that claimed she and “a couple of her top people are adamantly” against booking newly minted Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on her show.

“The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue,” Winfrey said in a statement sent to news organizations in reaction to the DrudgeReport.com posting. “There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

That said, Winfrey used her show to introduce Barack Obama to America’s women voters, and has endorsed and campaigned with the Democratic nominee. She also was very visible at Obama’s acceptance speech last week in Denver.

Winfrey’s staff reportedly is sharply divided on booking Palin.

“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” a source told Drudge. “Oprah’s Web site is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”

Oprah last year blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.

Sarah should tell Okrah to go pound salt!

Yes, ESPECIALLY, if she wins.

Thereafter, she should tell Oprah that her schedule does not permit her to make any appearances. In other words, stuff it you far left, fat, moonbat.

While I'm indifferent to Sarah appearing on Oprah, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't even consider the view!!!!

Letterman started his nightly trashing of McCain/Palin. He has been trashing Bush nightly for the past seven years. Leno isn’t much better. Media scum and Hollyweird/TV stars show nothing but disdain for the Americans that gave these scum their millions. Instead, they want to destroy this country which enabled these human waste to live in luxury.

Who is Oprah, Leno and Letterman’s audience? What alternatives exist to supporting their shows and networks?

Just think. Their careers were made by people paying for ticket prices and advertised products. Sooooooo.......

vote. Vote and vote with your feet and remote.

I was home from work one day and watched one of those Oprah giveaway Christmas shows once. All, ALL the people handing out the bonus things were white men dressed in black pants and white collars and cuffs with black ties. I don’t remember now if they were wearing shirts, but I remember that.

It was the last time I watched/taped Oprah for anything.

Is this news or something? Who (raise your hands) among us is actually surprised by this? Really...

Would any of you even subject yourselves to watching Oprah just to see that interview? I know I wouldn't. Of course, it puts Palin in an awkward position in the case Oprah DOES invite her. She will be forced to do the show just so she doesn't look like Obama by refusing spot on interviews with people who disagree... and Oprah has a following similar to Obama (I think they are actually the same people) so she wouldn't want to alienate herself from those viewers by refusing.

I guess the only difference is we get to watch Oprah flounder in it for a while... even I will admit that it's amusing.

"At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates." Oprah Winfrey

And when the democrats reinstate the Fairness Doctrine, she will not have the luxury of controlling her show. She will be required, by law, to present an opposing view.

Done.....I think we’ve watched the Tonight show twice since Carson retired and we’ve never watched letterman and my wife has NEVER watched the View or Oprah or the like. It makes the world slightly smaller for us but infinitely richer in quality.

NOTE TO SARAH PALIN:
Do not go on Oprah’s show...not now or ever. She is a part of the MSM. Let her cry her eyelashes off when McCain/Palin kick her punk candidate’s ass in November.

Oprah is always pushing the race card and I still don’t understand why the majority of her viewers, who are not black, continue to bend over and say,”thank you madame, may I have another”. To those fans I say, get off your lard asses, put away your twinkies and get a life. You don’t need this yenta to tell you how to live.
