Are we supposed to extrapolate from this family's experience some sort of useful generalization? Beware, this is an old trick on the left. They exploit the man on the street interview to create a point of view among the viewership. This time it works in our favor but most times it is bent against us.
What contribution to anything does this drivel yield?
I don't know. But the author was sort of pretending that she was this tolerant person, and then she fantasizes that Palin has murdered her way to the top. Not only is that extremely cheap, but artless as well.
If this journalist wants to see how a skillful professional criticizes her opposition, she needs to view Palin's speech again. Palin mocks with good-natured humor, not with a disgusting, artless comparison to some monster of a woman in a movie. I suppose this poor excuse for a journalist thought she was being clever, funny, and witty. No, she wasn't being any of those thigs--only rude and artless.
The same contribution as an obscure little radio host named Rush Limbaugh; it validates many more of us thought this way than the MSM is willing to let on.
