“At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates.”
WTF? Is this supposed to sound like her private self is in support of Obama, whereas her “show self” is neutral? When I read it, it sounds as if she’s saying, “At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate (because he’s black and from Chicago), I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the OTHER candidates, because I don’t want to give press to Barrack’s opponents.”

Oprah last year blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.Oprah is a bitch. There I said it.
Sarah needs to be careful.

Aww, she'll just give 'em all a toaster or something and they'll be fainting in the aisles.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Of course she doesn’t want Palin. Oprah’s in the entertainment industry and promotes fantasy. God forbid she should have a real, person who could make a difference on. Actually, having Palin on her show would be the ONLY thing that could make me watch it I stopped a LONG time ago when she caught the “ME” syndrome.

Oprah, you decided not to have your show be a platform for candidates? Uh, rrriiiggghhhttt.
That’s why you had the lovefest show with Obama? Because he is not a candidate?
And your loyal viewers all sucked that b.s. up and said, “Yum, yum?”
Doesn’t say much of the intelligence of your viewers if they swallow a fib that big.
Nor of your view of your viewers’ intelligence that you would expect them to swallow such a big fib.
But hey! Your show. It’s a free country. You got a right to be the racist you are.

If Oprah does invite her on, Governor Palin needs to tell her she’s too busy. She’s got a race to win. Oprah’s audience would probably be full of Cold Pinkos and Ron Paul supporters. There is really no reason for the Governor to have to put up with those pinheads.

“I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
I'm sure the Vice President of the United States will have better things to do than watch you flap your gums.

Who does this woman think her audience is?Stupid cows?
She would be right, too.
Lincoln said you can fool some of the people all of the time, and she is going with that all the way to the bank.
A billion dollars worth.
