RUSH: Steve Gilbert at the SweetnessandLight.com blog sent me a little archival story from July 30th of this year in the New York Times, about what Obama did teach in law school. "The young law professor stood apart in too many ways to count. At a school where economic analysis was all the rage, he taught rights, race and gender." In law school, Barack Obama taught rights, race, and gender, which is agitation. It means he wanted people to be mad. "Other faculty members dreamed of tenured positions; he turned them down." Awwww. "While most colleagues published by the pound, he never completed a single work of legal scholarship." And this, according to the New York Times, is an asset. This sets him apart. Teaching law, testing ideas, Obama stood slightly apart. He never published anything. What a unique guy. "Mr. Obama marched students through the thickets of campaign finance law." I can translate that. You know what that means? Here's how to register a bunch of times. Here's how to contribute multiple times and get away with it. "Before he helped redraw his own State Senate district" -- gets better with every sentence -- "making it whiter and wealthier, he taught districting as a racially fraught study in how power is secured. And before he posed what may be the ultimate test of racial equality -- whether Americans will elect a black president -- he led students through African-Americans' long fight for equal status." So he's a civil rights agitator in law school. This is what he was doing, a pretty good window I think into what he was doing in his community organizing work.

Maybe he should go back to teaching law. There is a big difference between that and being COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE US ARMED FORCES!!
My wife had a good idea. Because his resume is so light, maybe he should join the Marines and let them give him the experience he needs to be CIC for, at least eight years, and we all give him a fresh hearing after eight years in the corps.
I can agree to this. I will be willing to listen to what he says and consider him, in eight years, if he joins the corps.
Obama stands apart is right. He’s been pampered his entire life. I heard his argument explaining why his “community organizing” qualifies him for the presidency. The gist of his argument was that helping people is a qualification. If true, every social worker in America is qualified to be president. I’m not buying it. There are millions in America with the same credentials. The difference is he’s been sucked up to by fawning liberal sycophants. He was fast tracked plain and simple. Probably the least qualified person ever. I wouldn’t hire this empty suit for any position save on the very lowest rung of the smallest company. He’s had guilty whites lead his interference since way before his affirmative action admission to Hahhvaaad.
The same NYT that says Clarence Thomas is a lightweight because while he writes copiously, he's too busy listening to yak on the bench.
Obama used his “I was a civil rights lawyer” remark conserning his “experience”. That’s right. He is a civil rights lawyer who can not even say when he believes civil rights should be given to human beings. He couldn’t say it is at conception, or at birth, so I wonder just WHEN he thinks civil rights apply to us humans. He sould be asked that question again. Sorry, I forgot. That question is just above this civil rights lawyer’s pay grade!
We see before us a product of liberal legislation ,
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
So the article baldly states he taught Lani Guinier’s ideas and learned from her nomination debacle not to publish anything so as not to leave a paper trail that could come back to haunt him politically.
I think that idea goes back even further to his law review days, he didn’t write anything there either, highly unusual.
