Thanks for the Dose, jonny!

This President, it seems to me that he gets criticism that if he's perceived to be careful or deliberative, he's accused of being slow. And if he is decisive, he is accused of being impulsive and rash.

Dana Perino is FANTASTIC!!!

Those dinnerplate sized uniform hats are just ridiculous looking.

Almost as ridiculous looking as those floppy frenchie berets our men and women are forced to wear.

ROTFL!!! He’s so cute! I looooove him!!

My hand to God that I am not making this up...my big plan for the weekend was to finish (or get close to finishing) a scarf I am knitting! It’s not nearly as cute as Agent Frowny’s S’more, though. ;-)

it was disappointing to me that President Bush was left out of all but a token speech. He's still the one we most admire.

Ditto and Amen!

I enjoyed seeing the pictures of McCain and Palin and the warm reception they received from the crowds.

And, by the way, wasn’t Yushchenko the one who was poisoned and had blisters and scars on his face just a few weeks before their election?

Something else interesting that you may or may not know. Yuschenko's wife Kateryna Yushchenko was born in the U.S. and she is a U.S, citizen. She worked in both the Reagan and the G. H. W. Bush administrations and she was a co-founder and the vice-president of Ukraine-USA Foundation.

The Yuschenko's are certainly the good guys.

I heard on FNC that hundreds of American flags were found in and or around the dumpsters where the empty suit did his nomination speech

4 years of Vice President Palin and 8 years of President Palin sounds like a winner to me

I thought "Sanity Island" was for actual truthful exposure of President Bush and his administration.

There were quite a few of VP Cheney and Dr. Rice to start the thread off.

To me, it's not really a problem. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy Friday's photos, because I know the host didn't mean to upset anybody or the spirit of the thread.

Todd Palin, husband of Republican vice presidential, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, shakes hands with a fan who brought a Newsweek magazine for Palin to sign at a group autograph event at the Hays Days Grass Drags snowmobile event in Forest Lake, Minn. Saturday Sept. 6, 2008. Palin, a professional racer, is the defending and four-time champion of the 1,971 mile Iron Dog snowmobile race in his home state of Alaska.
