This is silly. We believe that people can do what they want with their money... and giving him grief over not giving 'enough' goes against that...

Its almost like the dems giving Palin and McCain grief over family value stuff that the dems don't practice themselves.

I personally give even less than Obama's lowest amounts to charities. .. because I don't trust non profits AT ALL. I give my money to family and friends who are in need .. and they aren't tax deductable orgs. I will NEVER give much money to ANY non profit. I have no desire to watch my cash used to jet non profit execs around in first class or pay for the other BS that most of them do.

That is a cop out. You apparently haven’t investigated many charitable organizations. For example, the Salvation Army uses less than 15% of the money the take in for overhead and NOBODY at the SA is a rich executive. There are also many homeless shelters in larger cities that refuse government money and do an excellent job of getting people back up on their feet.

If don’t want to give to worthy causes, don’t try to blame others’ failings.

Besides, this article is about the way liberals think that generosity begins by taking the money out of other people’s wallets.

Religious conservatives are more generous than secular liberals. To see that BHO is not generous undercuts his claim to be a Christian. I think that is useful info.

That's nice that you give so much of you income to your friends and famiily. Just don't forget to file your gift tax returns. :)
